The server
Pipe Dream was a whitelisted, invite-only survival multiplayer server running vanilla Minecraft 1.7.2 with no mods. Basket's video descriptions say it had just opened for the release of Minecraft 1.7, and that it was played on UHC difficulty: Hard mode with no health regeneration. It was a regular survival world, not a UHC match, so there are no teams and no winner.
The series is one livestream and three episodes, uploaded between November 17 and December 28, 2013. The livestream is a caving trip with other players from the server, then a run to a Nether fortress for brewing supplies. Episode 1 is a tour of Basket's spawn house, with the Basket Smelter 2000 and an alchemist station. Episodes 2 and 3 follow a group of players from the server to the stronghold to fight the Ender Dragon.
How it ended
The last episode, uploaded on December 28, 2013, picks up in the stronghold portal room the group lit at the end of Episode 2. They jump through, kill the Ender Dragon, and Basket heads home to the house under the lake. The episode ends back at the spawn chests at night.

Merry Christmas from the Pipe Dream Server
At night on the Pipe Dream server, the giant Christmas tree on a terraced red mesa lights up, lamps glowing across it and a thin beam rising from its top, under the words "Merry Christmas from the Pipe Dream Server."
