Episode 3 opens on "The Pipe Dream Server" over clips, then a title card reading "Episode 3, Ender Dragon Battle" over Basket at spawn. "Hey everybody, Basket here," and the plan is the same as last time: the stronghold, then the Ender Dragon. "So hopefully we survive."
Into the End
The recording picks up in the portal room with the portal already lit and the group standing around it, several of them in carved pumpkins. Basket is wearing one too. "Are we the first?" a voice asks, and the jumping starts. The first players land on a strip of end stone, and a voice reports that someone is building a bridge off it. Endermen stand everywhere in the dark.
Towers in the dark
The Ender Dragon's boss bar shows up at the top of the screen. Basket hides the HUD for long stretches, so much of the fight is black sky, arrows streaking past and the dragon's dark shape passing over. The voices call out the towers as they go: "Okay, I got the middle one." At one point the voices get frantic: "I need somewhere to hide badly," then "Drink a potion." Basket's hotbar flips to a Potion of Strength, then to a Potion of Healing. "That was close," a voice says. "Okay, now we can take this dragon."
The dragon goes down
A few minutes later beams of purple light burst out of the dragon high above the island. "Who got it?" "I don't know." Chat shows BasketMC and PsychoSFK earning the achievement "The End?", and for a moment the voices read that as credit for the kill. Then someone points out it is the one for entering the End. The group gathers under the bedrock pillar in the middle of the island, with Virii333 standing on top. "Don't touch the egg!" a voice warns, and another says it will go to the town hall eventually.
The long way home
Basket takes the exit portal and comes back beside the bed in the stronghold. This time chat shows PsychoSFK and BasketMC earning "The End.", and the achievement screen describes it as defeating the Ender Dragon. Then comes the walk out. Basket climbs a ladder out of the stronghold, comes up through water onto a mesa, crosses it, and takes a Nether portal home. "I'm totally lost right now," a voice admits along the way. Back at spawn, Basket goes down to the house under the lake, past the wall of furnaces, and opens a large chest with potions in it.
Too many derpgurus
By night the spawn plaza is glitching. Players leave and rejoin, and extra copies of derpguru appear, two and then three nameplates at once. "Which one should I not attack?" a voice asks. "I can't see Basket either," says another, and a third finds "I can put down blocks, but I can't break them." "Your server broke," a voice says, and another guesses "it's probably another bug." Soon someone suggests they "log out and log back in" to see how many derps they can get.
Basket spends the last minutes walking around spawn with green carpet and torches in hand. The episode ends at the spawn chests with Virii333 and Th3pooka standing nearby, and then the end card runs to the last frame.
