Episode 128 is more city wall. Basket picks up where two stretches of the stone brick wall around Basketopia are about to meet near a future tower, leaves that join for later, and carries on along the other side. The server is still on 1.12. Basket says 1.13 is out but wants to wait about a week before updating, "because I don't want to corrupt the world."
Building from the bottom up
The wall follows the ground again, a few blocks at a time, with slopes made more gradual where they dropped too fast. This time Basket builds each section up from the bottom, which "will require me to eat less food as I fall." The plan for the cross beams is slabs instead of full blocks, to save stone. The wall won't be solid either. "It'll be hollow," with torches inside to stop mobs spawning, and maybe a secret tunnel here and there.
Out of stone
Running low, Basket heads through a portal to the storage at the iron farm for more stone. The chest holds only a few stacks. "This is all she wrote." That means digging, maybe a couple of streams' worth. The likely spot is underneath the castle, where Basket plans to build rooms anyway. Clearing it out gives the blocks first and the space later, and might turn up any spawners hiding down there.
Diagonals and a lava pocket
Back at the wall, Basket counts out the diagonals, one, two, three, four, five, and sends the wall up and over the hills. A pocket of lava sits right at the edge of one section. Basket steps around it and may take it out later. A couple of trees end up inside the wall line, and Basket lets them stay. On one steep stretch the wall goes all the way down, and the water below might one day be dug out to run through the wall to the ocean. The new water rules in 1.13 could make that part, and a future sewer system, more fun to plan.
A look from outside
Basket heads outside to see the wall from the far side. A couple of spots need fixing and one gap needs closing. A tower will go at the point, and Basket now wants small towers along the whole length because they "will probably make the wall look a lot better." The cove gets a swim-by too, saved for "some other day." Around then dash10138 joins the server and waves in chat.
Plotting the rest
With the blocks almost gone, Basket stops filling in and starts plotting the rest of the line in single blocks, stepping in every three. Where the wall meets a tower, the two stay separate, so getting from one side to the other means going through the tower's door. Over a future waterway the line stays high for now. Then the last block goes down and Basket is out.
A quick tour
Basket pulls out the map to show the island, the castle, the start of the city and the farming village to come, then runs over for a look at the village (an inn, a library, a tavern and the flower shop that is still under construction) and the castle's front entrance. Next time is mining. The credits run to the end with no gameplay after them.
