Episode 131 is more of the city wall around Basketopia. The title screen shows Minecraft 1.12.2. Basket logs in, checks the inventory ("we don't have a lot of blocks left") and starts on the wall where it comes down the far side of a building, stepping it down one block at a time. This time the whole thing goes up first "so we don't have to spend as much food." Slabs go on top, and the spots for a tower and a gatehouse are left for later.
Shopping for stone
"Let's go shopping." Basket heads into the castle and down to the storage, where a large chest is packed with cracked stone bricks, and loads up a shulker box. More ender pearls come along too, and one of them is the shortcut back up onto the wall.
Into the mountain
Back on the wall, one stretch gets real stairs instead of slab steps, since "the rest of it's gonna be stairs here anyway." Night falls and Basket makes it day again. A hill next to one tower gets trimmed down "enough so you can't climb up into the wall."
Then the wall runs straight into a mountain. Basket digs through it, marking the middle of the line each time it shifts over. The first try steps down one block at a time, which turns out steeper than it needs to be, so the next goes two at a time. The roof gets a gentler slope too, "so that way, they'll actually have headspace." The inside is smooth stone for now, there may be an arch where it opens out, and the torches are temporary, "because it's inside so it'll be dark."
The short side
Basket wants to hold off on 1.13 for now: "I might wait until they fix some lag issues before we attempt to update." Meanwhile the wall has a problem. "I don't know why this side is so much shorter than the other side. I feel like I stopped part way building this thing." Basket raises it to match, then at one awkward spot brings it down instead "of trying to work in some kind of crazy thing." There are a few close calls along the top. "I almost made it, I almost didn't fall."
Llamas and steep turns
Basket cuts a hill back a few blocks to get in close and swaps some blocks for stone brick. From the top of the mountain the wall is not very defensible, Basket admits, since "someone can come from behind and get up there." Another stretch was never finished ("for some reason I guess I ran out of blocks"), so it all goes up two blocks. Llamas graze on the grass outside the wall. Basket pushed out the ones that ended up inside it. Where the wall turns and climbs at the same time, it gets complicated, and Basket switches to steep stairs to get it across.
The walls so far
Past what Basket calls "a big gatehouse," the line reaches parts that were built before. One of the next jobs is to go back around and put full steps where slabs are standing in for them. Then a last look at "the walls so far": a tower here, a tower there, and a little water alcove down below with a waterway to come underneath it. The credits run to the end with no gameplay after them.
