Myriad Caves runs the old pre-1.8 food rules, so eating restores health directly rather than filling a hunger bar. Bread is a heal, not a snack for later, and that quietly changes how every fight goes.
On top of completing the monument there are 54 numbered emeralds hidden through the caves, each one needing a stone pickaxe to break. That bonus goal ends up shaping the entire run.
It starts at the Grotto of the Novice, which is not for novices, and reaches the floor being lava and emeralds 8 and 6 so far.
