The challenge
The Lorax Challenge, the September 2014 Minecraft Hardcore Challenge, had one special rule: no punching, cutting or chopping trees, and that includes leaves. The objective from host Michael Deering was to survive and build a nice stone castle with a melon farm.
The other rules were no sleeping, no eating animals except fish and zombies, no AFK crop growth, no exploring the world in another copy, and everything on camera at normal speed, in hardcore mode on Minecraft 1.7.10. The nine episodes went up between September 1 and September 29, 2014.
