The challenge
The Minecraft Hardcore Challenge was a monthly community event run by game show host Michael Deering. Each month the host set an objective and a list of rules, and everyone who entered played the same world seed in hardcore mode, where one death ends the run. Entrants posted their episodes on the same days, every Monday and Friday, and in most months one episode covered one Minecraft day.
Basket took part in twenty-one of these months, from June 2013 to the start of 2017. Some months were solo runs. Others were team games on the GopherCraft server, or a run shared with one partner. Every month had its own twist: saving a village, never leaving the Nether, marrying a witch, living inside a single chunk, or going after the Ender Dragon.
Each month has its own page with that month's rules and the list of episodes, and episode numbers start over every month.
