The challenge
The Lacto Ovo Pacifist Challenge, the June 2015 Minecraft Hardcore Challenge, made eating and fighting hard. No mushrooms, rotten flesh, meat or fish. No harming any mob, passive or hostile, directly or indirectly. No taking anything from villages, dungeons or temples, though a player can trade one gold ingot for one thing. The end goal was to build a pretty house on the plains.
Basket plays with a small team. Host Michael Deering's standard rules also applied, including no sleeping in beds to skip the night and everything on camera at normal speed, in hardcore mode on Minecraft 1.8.6. The nine episodes went up between June 1 and June 29, 2015.
