The challenge
June 2013 was Basket's first Minecraft Hardcore Challenge. Game show host Michael Deering gave every entrant the same world seed and the same rules, and each entrant played in hardcore mode on Minecraft 1.5.2, posting episodes on the same days.
The rules were short: no mods, no beds, no killing the animals, and nothing done off camera. The eight episodes went up between June 3 and June 28, 2013.
