The title card reads "Minecraft Hardcore Challenge June 2013," with "E06" in the corner. Day six picks up down in the ravine, on the obsidian floor beside the lava pool. Basket checks the depth and is happy with it: "Yeah, perfect diamond level. So I'm going to try and get some diamonds this episode, is my goal. Not die, because I'm kind of in a dangerous area."
Two ravines
First come more torches, then the search. Basket follows the lava pool, pouring water over the edges to turn them to obsidian, and finds that the caves connect to "kind of a second ravine, really." Basket edges along a wall up high, hoping a skeleton's arrow won't knock them into the lava below. "Looks like it's dead ending." It is, so Basket turns back.
Creepers in the water
The caves are full of water and things living in it. A zombie wades through a stream under a lava fall and Basket cuts it down with the stone sword. A creeper shows up near a patch of redstone ore, and Basket isn't impressed: "Suicidal creepers."
The next one isn't so polite. Basket is standing in flowing water when another creeper comes along a ledge. "Oh no, creeper. Go away. I'm stuck in the stupid water." It blows up right there. Basket comes out of it alive: "Whoa. Okay. That was fun."
A backup sword
After another zombie, Basket checks the gear. "Oh, do I have a backup sword? I do not." So Basket crafts an iron one. There's a second lava lake, some emerald ore ("maybe can collect emeralds and then trade them with villagers"), iron, redstone and gold, and a skeleton out on the obsidian that Basket takes down. Still no diamonds. "Sometimes these lava lakes have diamond on the outside."
Basket finds the way back to the ladder. "No diamonds! Ugh!"
Spiders on the farm
Up at the base, Basket starts the furnaces and sorts the chest, then goes up to gather enough for "a big stack of pie." "Although it is night right now, isn't it?" It's raining, too. Two spiders come at Basket among the pumpkins. The stone sword breaks mid-fight ("And there goes my sword"), and Basket fights on with bare fists, then switches to the new iron sword.
A creeper turns up on a ledge next. Basket fires arrows at it, then finishes it with the iron sword. "Should have lit up that ledge while I was up there." The hoppers in the chicken pen have been working: seven eggs. Back inside, Basket makes an iron chestplate to have ready, since the gold one will "break soon," then goes back out to breed the chickens.
Day six done
There isn't time left to go down again. "I guess actually the episode's about to end." Basket is running low on wood and plans to chop trees at the start of the next day, and to give up on this cave for now, "since there's a lot of resources but no diamonds," for a cave system where another entrant has been finding diamonds. "There's the buzzer." The game pauses in the base room with Basket alive, and the end card follows with no gameplay after it.
