The season
Season 7 ran on Minecraft 1.8.1, on UHC difficulty, hosted by GopherCraft and run by Scoti Garbidis. Five teams fought it out on an amplified terrain map, inside a world border that shrank over three hours until everyone was pushed into a 50 by 50 area at the center.
Basket's team was Team Tang, the orange team. Nine episodes went up between January 25 and February 10, 2015, plus an Episode 0 posted the same day as Episode 1.

How it ended for Basket
Team Tang lost pulse2010 to a zombie in Episode 4, leaving Basket and FriarNurgle. In the last episode Basket took out technascribe with the renamed "Basket's Sword," but a few minutes later the chat read "BasketMC was slain by Steel_Douglas." FriarNurgle and Steel_Douglas were the only players without a death line at that point. Episode 9 does not show who won.

The players gather on a platform high above the amplified terrain while the rules are read: a 20-minute grace period from other players but not from mobs, no branch mining, and a border that shrinks until it is 50 blocks wide. After the wool draw, Basket lands with FriarNurgle and pulse2010 among sand hills, and each team posts "ready" in chat.
