Season 7 opens with the five team cards (Team Kermit, Team Tang, Team Tunnel Rats, Candy Apple Red and Team Inappropriate) and a "GopherCraft UHC 7 Amplified" title, with no episode number. Basket plays for Team Tang, the orange team, with pulse2010 and FriarNurgle. Scoti_Garbidis types "GO!!!" and the match starts on steep, stacked amplified hills.
Food first
The spawn is full of animals: pigs, chickens and cows, with a zombie wandering among them. The team splits up. Someone heads for the trees, someone goes after the animals in the valley, and Basket crafts the crafting tables. Chat fills with achievements from every team, and BasketMC's first one, Taking Inventory, shows up a few minutes in.
The plan this time is food on the first day. The cows pay off. "Seventeen steak. That's awesome," someone says, and later, "we got 30 steak." Basket sets down a furnace beside a crafting table up the hill so the beef can cook while the others keep working.
South to the desert
With food cooking, Basket heads south. The idea is a temple: "If we could find a temple that would be a huge advantage because there's usually lots of gold there." The desert has a small well and plenty of sand, but no temple. Back in the trees, the team cuts oak for saplings and apples. "One apple, nice." A second one follows. Apples matter here, since nothing heals on its own in UHC.
Under before night
The sky turns red and the team has to pick a spot. They settle on a cave by the trees. pulse2010 and FriarNurgle meet up inside. "I'm gonna get some dirt to cover up the hole," someone says, and soon after, "That's blocked off." The team decides to bring the cooking down with them, so nobody passing by can take it. Basket crafts another furnace, and soon three of them sit in a row with a crafting table on top.
There is a short mix-up over what is in which furnace. "Did I just put chicken in one of these furnaces?" "Did you swap out what's cooking in these?" "I didn't." The best guess is that the game lagged. In chat, rePeteD earns Monster Hunter.
The cave of doom
A staircase down opens into a huge round cave, a "giant ravine cave thing of doom." Lava pours down one wall, and there is water further in. The team mines iron and coal on the way. "Got ten iron." By the end, Basket's hotbar holds a water bucket, which the team wanted for the steep slopes.
The server then posts "20 Minutes" and starts listing the current players, with BasketMC's teammates FriarNurgle and pulse2010 among them. The episode ends with Basket alive in the cave with the team, a little short of full health.
