The five team cards and the "GopherCraft UHC 7 Amplified" title open the episode, again with no episode number. Basket and FriarNurgle are still on the tall hill from Episode 7, and chat shows the "140 Minutes" list with ten players left: technascribe, OjiiOtousan, momofminers, Gopherboy, Steel_Douglas, PsychoSFK, lostinthefort, Scoti_Garbidis, BasketMC and FriarNurgle. Basket has four and a half hearts.
Waiting at the top
Nobody is in sight. "Where is everybody?" Basket types a joke into chat, "welcome to episode 4 of the Basket lets build," then "today we're making the roof of our lovely house." FriarNurgle answers "happy little tree over here." Scoti_Garbidis writes that they must be outside the border since nobody can see them, and momofminers writes "come at wall bro come at me." Basket replies "so you claim to be above ground scoti."
The plan is simple. They likely have the highest ground of anyone, and if nobody knows they are up there, they can shoot down at whoever shows up. "I feel like that's sort of what we have to do to have a chance." The Tab list shows all ten players still in, with PsychoSFK down to under three hearts.
Down the waterfall
The border is visible now, closing in behind them. "I like the spot, but we're going to lose it pretty soon." Instead of pouring their own water, they ride a waterfall that already runs down the side. "I had one big drop but luckily it was in the water."
Names across the way
It is getting dark at the bottom. Then: "Oh yeah, I see the names." Across the way, "he's pillaring up," and Basket draws the bow. "Oh I missed, oh I hit him, awesome." The other side digs in behind half slabs. "They have turrets and stuff. Arrow slits." The names look red or purple at first, and the guess settles on purple. In chat, OjiiOtousan writes "you shot me in the foot! who does that?!"
"One of them stayed in the original spot and two of them moved." momofminers writes "nanny nanny boo boo."
A death in chat
A few minutes later chat reads "OjiiOtousan burned to death." The screen does not show how. pulse2010 and technascribe both write "gg," then technascribe adds "Lava Facial!" momofminers goes on teasing in chat with "haha yellow gotta creeper to the face" and later "awww u missed."
Digging around
Arrows run low. "I wish I would have gotten more arrows from that spawner before we had to abandon." So Basket switches to the diamond pickaxe and digs a tunnel to come at them from the side. "Keep 'em distracted, and then I'm gonna try and get 'em from the side."
The server posts "160 Minutes" with nine names: Gopherboy, Steel_Douglas, lostinthefort, Scoti_Garbidis, PsychoSFK, technascribe, FriarNurgle, momofminers and BasketMC. The episode ends with Basket alive in the tunnel with about three and a half hearts. "Oh, I'm right by the border."
