The five team cards and the "GopherCraft UHC 7 Amplified" title open the last episode of the season, again with no episode number. Basket is still underground in the tunnel from Episode 8, with three and a half hearts. The "160 Minutes" list in chat names nine players: Gopherboy, Steel_Douglas, lostinthefort, Scoti_Garbidis, PsychoSFK, technascribe, FriarNurgle, momofminers and BasketMC.
Digging in the dark
Basket keeps mining narrow stone tunnels with the diamond pickaxe, a torch here and there, while the voices on the call talk about where the other teams are.
Then chat fills up fast. "PsychoSFK was slain by Steel_Douglas." Steel_Douglas earns Cow Tipper, and right after, "lostinthefort was slain by Steel_Douglas." A moment later: "Scoti_Garbidis tried to swim in lava to escape Gopherboy." FriarNurgle, Gopherboy and Scoti_Garbidis all type "gg." In about half a minute, the whole yellow team is gone.
Lava in the tunnel
Basket has a lava bucket and pours it into the tunnel ahead.
"Why doesn't that lava do anything?" And then: "I just put down lava."
The sword does its job
Seconds later a player in purple-tinted armor shows up at a gap in the tunnel wall. Basket switches from the pickaxe to Basket's Sword and swings. The screen goes dark, Basket's hearts drop to about one and a half, and then chat posts the line Basket was hoping for back in Episode 7: "technascribe was slain by BasketMC using [Basket's Sword]."
"I got it."
More lines follow right behind it. "Gopherboy was slain by momofminers," then "momofminers fell from a high place." Basket types "gg," momofminers answers "NOOOOO!" and technascribe writes "gg." Back in the tunnel, a pile of dropped gear floats on the stone floor.
Up to the surface
With about one heart, Basket works through the tunnels for a few more minutes, then digs up into daylight. The surface is a steep forest of birch and amplified hills, and the red stripes of the world border run across everything.
Out of the match
Basket climbs through the trees with Basket's Sword out. Then the screen turns red. "You died!" Chat reads "BasketMC was slain by Steel_Douglas." momofminers writes "wow," Basket types "gg," and Gopherboy and OjiiOtousan add theirs.
Basket is out of the match. The view moves to high above the map with an empty hotbar, and then the credits roll. The rest of the video is a blank end card, so the episode never shows who wins. Of the nine names on the "160 Minutes" list, chat has posted seven deaths by this point. The two without one are Steel_Douglas and FriarNurgle.
