The five team cards and the "GopherCraft UHC 7 Amplified" title open the episode, with no episode number. Team Tang is down to two. The server posts "80 Minutes" and lists the players still in the match: thirteen names, with BasketMC and FriarNurgle in orange and pulse2010 no longer among them.
Out into the desert
Basket and FriarNurgle come out of the ground into an amplified desert, with lava pouring down a cliff beside a waterfall. An enderman wanders close, then a spider. "We could try and kill him for a bow. Let's do it."
Then comes the thing the team forgot to grab back in Episode 3. "Oh wait! Reeds!" Sugar cane grows on the riverbank, and that means paper, books, and an enchanting table.
The border
From the high ground the world border comes into view. "Wow, yeah, the border is right there, isn't it?" Then another. "There's a wall over on that side too." They are standing in a corner of the shrinking map, so they head toward the middle to buy time for enchanting.
Chat brings two deaths on the way: "Virii333 was slain by PsychoSFK," then "Frank_n_Honest was shot by Scoti_Garbidis." Rows of "gg" follow, and FriarNurgle adds "fight!"
A cave under a burned forest
The two climb through the treetops of a roofed forest, past a stretch that has burned. "Somebody burned down this forest." A cave under it becomes the hideout: "This will be our spot." One of them seals the entrance with dirt while Basket crafts iron blocks into an anvil and sets it next to an enchanting table.
Basket's diamond sword comes out with Sharpness I and an iron chestplate with Protection II. For the boots the choice is Projectile Protection. "It depends if you think you'll be hit by a bow." "I'm sure I will be, so I'm doing it." The levels run out fast. Between them they count nine gold, not enough for another apple yet.
Night and a mineshaft
By the time they come back up it is getting dark, and someone has dug beside a lava pool to set more of the forest burning. They pillar across to another cave, close it up behind them, and follow a ravine down. "Oh, hey! Mineshaft!"
The mineshaft is good for string and bad for everything else. A cave spider comes out of the dark. "That's a cave spider, isn't it? Yep, time to go." They wall it off and cut around to the left, fighting zombies and a bat, and pick up string, five between them by their count. In chat, OjiiOtousan earns Hot Topic and then Acquire Hardware.
Another spawner
Further on they find a second spawner. "It's a Skelly spawner." The episode ends there, with Basket and FriarNurgle both alive in the mineshaft, with enchanted gear and still no bow.
