The season
Members of The Kid's Table took part in its first UHC, on Minecraft 1.9.0, on UHC difficulty. It was hosted by GopherCraft and run by Basket, who built the command blocks used on the map. Teams of two were picked at random. The world border shrinks with every death: after each one, players get a two-minute warning, and then the border closes in by a set amount over five minutes.
Fourteen players took part, and the team cards at the start of Episode 1 show the seven pairs. Basket was paired with Jadelf. Eight episodes went up between April 10 and April 24, 2016, with an Intro & Rules video (Episode 0) on the same day as Episode 1 and a spectator footage video (Episode 99) on April 27.
Teams
- BasketMC and Jadelf
- Frank_n_Honest and Scoti_Garbidis
- thepigglesworth and Bakerbelle
- nihontiger and Finalflame
- bjaydubya and MomofMiners
- pikerize and RandomBacon74

How it ended for Basket
Basket and Jadelf made it to the final six. Along the way Basket took out RandomBacon74 with a diamond sword named "nihon slayer." In the last episode they came up near the middle of the map, fought nihontiger on a cliff, and Basket fell into the river below. There Finalflame slew Basket and then shot Jadelf, putting the purple team out. Four players were left when Basket's episode ended. The spectator footage below shows more of the endgame, including "Bakerbelle was slain by nihontiger," but no win message appears.

Other videos from this season
Episode 0: Intro & Rules
The Kid's Table players introduce themselves on a glass platform and go over the rules: a 20-minute grace period with mobs still on, no screen cheating, a ready-check book, and the Soul Crusher border that closes in after each death. The teams of two are drawn at random, and Basket and Jadelf are spread into a forest to ready up.
Episode 99: Spectator Footage
Spectator footage of the final players, including thepigglesworth and Bakerbelle, fighting in a flower forest as the border shrinks. The chat reads "Bakerbelle was slain by nihontiger using [nihon slayer]," and Klaus_Endomere types "Fight to the death."
