Episode 7 opens at the top of the staircase Basket dug at the end of Episode 6. Seven players are left, and Basket and Jadelf are still in it. Before breaking through, the worry on the call is an ambush: "Think they're waiting for us?"
Up into the flowers
Nobody is waiting. Basket pokes out into a forest packed with flowers: tulips, roses and purple blooms under oak and birch trees. "The surface is clear," comes the word on the call.
It does not stay quiet for long. "There's Bacon," a voice says: RandomBacon74 is somewhere in the trees by the water. The plan is to get behind a tree and keep blocking. Then: "He just creeper himself."
RandomBacon74 goes down
Basket closes in, and chat reads "RandomBacon74 was slain by BasketMC using [nihon slayer]." Finalflame, thepigglesworth, Bakerbelle and Jadelf type "gg," and the map posts "Soul Crusher will wake in 2 minutes!" Tavinnea, already out of the match, adds "lol basket."
RandomBacon74's things lie scattered on the grass by the river, and the pair pick through the pile. "He has some apples."
Jadelf heads into the river, where some string has landed. A squid keeps shoving, and only two pieces of string come back out.
That leaves six players. Chat then reads "Soul Crusher is coming!" and "(The World Border is shrinking 150 blocks over 5 minutes)." A little later nihontiger writes, "this world border keeps scaring me."
Hunting in the trees
The pair cross the river and creep through the forest, crouched to hide their names. Basket climbs a ridge, which turns out to be a bad spot: "It's the advantage of high ground, but we have no bows." A spider down below drops no string. Rain starts.
In the trees someone calls "Oh, creeper," and Basket's health bar drops. Basket eats a golden apple, and Finalflame types "Nice going basket" and then "That apple tastey?" One of them is sure there are people up in the trees to the west, but nobody shows.
Digging in for the night
At sundown they dig straight down and wait out the dark. Between them they already have 27 iron ingots and 64 iron, so they agree to stop mining it. They dig on anyway, listening for lava, and turn up four diamonds.
The enchanting table and an anvil go down in a little stone room. Diamond boots with Protection II turn up in Basket's inventory. "Now I've got protection two on everything," one of them says. Then Basket spends five levels at the anvil and comes away with iron boots carrying both Protection II and Feather Falling I.
The episode ends with Basket picking the enchanting table back up, still underground with Jadelf and waiting for daylight. Both are alive, with six players left.
