The first Kid's Table UHC opens with its teams of two, shown pair by pair on cards: BasketMC is with JadeLF, who shows up in game as Jadelf. Then chat posts "Game started, go go go!" and fourteen players scatter across a fresh 1.9 world. Basket starts in a thick forest next to a river.
Wood, chickens and the wall
The first minutes are the usual UHC start. Basket punches trees, puts down a crafting table, and chases chickens along the riverbank. Achievement lines from every team scroll up the chat the whole time.
The world border is close. A striped wall of light stands right at the edge of the forest. In this season the border only moves when a player dies, so for now it just sits there.
Into the village
Following the river, Basket swats a squid in the water and then comes out on a plains village. Rain starts to fall. Finalflame writes in chat, "rain rain go away come again another day." Chickens and sheep wander between the houses, and Basket strips the farm plots, coming away with stacks of carrots, wheat and seeds.
Under the church
The village church becomes the way underground. A purple Jadelf nameplate shows up outside it in the rain, matching the purple BasketMC wears in chat. Inside, a shaft goes straight down with ladders on the wall. Basket climbs down, makes a stone pickaxe, and a small room under the village gets a crafting table and two furnaces to cook the food.
The Soul Crusher wakes
While Basket works the furnaces, two lines drop into chat one after the other: "Frank_n_Honest was slain by Zombie" and "Scoti_Garbidis was slain by Zombie." A whole team is out, both to zombies. Chat fills with "gg" and "oh noooo," and MomofMiners writes, "guess the loser lounge isn't empty anymore."
Then the map's own warning appears: "Soul Crusher will wake in 2 minutes!" When the two minutes are up, it reads "Soul Crusher is coming!" and "The World Border is shrinking 150 blocks over 5 minutes." The deaths have pulled the wall in.
Down the stairs
The team packs up and cuts a staircase down through the stone, mining coal and placing torches on the way. Basket switches to a stone sword for a while. Near the bottom, lava starts pouring out of a gap in the wall.
Then chat posts "Klaus_Endomere was shot by Skeleton," and the warning comes back: "Soul Crusher will wake in 2 minutes!" Three players are out in the first twenty minutes. MomofMiners sums it up: "everyone is dropping like flies." Basket and Jadelf are both still in the game, underground, as the episode ends.
