Episode 7 of Hypermine Modded is a prank. Another player has cows living in the trees under their base, and Basket says they show up on the minimap and drive Basket crazy. So Basket adds to the problem: a cow spawner on a timer, hidden inside one of those trees. By the end it is in place and has spawned its first cow.
The spawner
Basket traded some goodies to another player for the machinery. The main piece is an Auto-Spawner from MineFactory Reloaded, loaded with a reusable safari net holding a cow and hooked up to "the community power thing." A redstone torch sits between it and a ComputerCraft computer. Basket explains that the spawner only spawns when it is not powered, so the torch inverts the computer's signal.
A six-hour timer
The script is short. It turns the signal on for ten seconds, turns it off, then waits 21,600 seconds. "If I did my math right this should be about six hours." Rebooting the computer starts the loop over, so a server restart spawns a cow too. A test reboot shows an idle bar run down first, then cows: two one time, three the next. Basket decides to leave it and adjust later if there are too many.
Stage two is planned but not built: a Mystcraft book in the hideout that sends the target to an underground "cow bovine temple."
Into the tree
At the base, the tree already has a cow in it, though Basket is sure that one was just killed. "It's possible something else is also doing this prank." Basket adds a limb as a spawning area and builds out the trunk to hide the machines. The computer is labeled cow.
Another reboot for the camera. The work bar stays full and nothing new shows on the minimap, so Basket worries it "doesn't always like to spawn it in the tree." Then a cow appears in the leaves. Basket closes the tree back up.
Where it ends
One cow was there before Basket arrived, and the next should come in about six hours. The temple might come later, and Basket wants to see whether anyone notices the tree grew. The video ends on Basket standing in the treetops.
