Episode 18 of Minimalist sends Team B.S. into Regal Redoubt, the purple wool dungeon on Kaladun's complete the monument map. Its gold-armored Royal Guards kill both of them once. They come back, clear the throne room and a lava room below it, and carry home purple wool and a gold block. By the end the monument has two more wools and a second resource block.
Into Regal Redoubt
They stock up on healing potions at the base and walk down a hall between falls of lava to a sign: "Regal Redoubt [Purple Wool]." Inside there is a glass floor with a gap to jump, skeleton and blaze spawners, lava in the ceiling and paintings on the walls. "Not trapped apparently." Then the guards show up: zombies in full gold armor carrying axes, each with the nameplate Royal Guard. "Oh, there's a lot of them."
Slain by the guards
The stairs lead up into more blazes and more guards, and both of them get withered. "I don't know how we're gonna get into this top area." "Very carefully man, very carefully." It does not work. The chat reads "Scoti_Garbidis was slain by Royal Guard," and seconds later Basket gets the death screen and "BasketMC was slain by Royal Guard." The Deaths board goes to 15 and 13.
Both respawn at the base. Basket pulls iron armor from the ender chest, and the big chest gives up healing potions and a golden apple. "I'm gonna try and recover my stuff."
The throne room
Back inside, they find a gap three blocks high that the guards cannot get down through. "Cool, so we can leave it like this so we can still get through, and they can't." There are not enough torches to light the spawners, so the plan is to break them. In the throne room, Basket mines a gold block out of one of the pillars. "There was one gold block inside one." The spare gear goes into a chest so it does not get lost.
Water over lava
A ladder leads down into a room floored with lava, with blaze spawners along the walls. With fire resistance on, they pour water ahead of them to cover the lava and work forward one bucket at a time. "I'm gonna advance the water." Past a pillar of glowstone, quartz and purple blocks sits a chest with the purple wool, its tooltip reading "From Regal Redoubt."
Back at the monument
A sign reading "Teleport to the Majestic Monument" takes them home. The split, on the recording: "you do the cyan and I'll do the gold, and then you could do the purple." Cyan and purple wool join the row after white, orange, magenta, light blue, yellow, lime, pink, gray and light gray. Basket sets the gold block on the resource shelf next to the iron block.
Where it ends
A count of emeralds turns up only one. "All right, we'll see him next time." The monument stands at eleven wools plus iron and gold blocks, with the Deaths board at Scoti_Garbidis 15, BasketMC 13.
