Part 2 picks up inside the white wool dungeon, in the middle of a maze of hallways. The party is the same as last time, johnfal_92 and Dash (dash10138), going by the nameplates. Scoti isn't with them. The first decision is whether to finish the side hallways before moving on. "Sure, why not." Then one of them goes the wrong way.
Snipers first
The next room has skeleton snipers up high and a creeper spawner hidden in the trees on the left. The plan is to take the snipers out first, then the spawner. In the middle of the room is a chest next to a waterfall, with a line about it: "Through water life springs true." They argue for a second about whether it's a loot chest, decide it isn't, and open it. It's mostly arrows. "If you want arrows, hit Dash." Someone was hoping for a potion or some special item for getting through the dungeon.
Blazes, creepers and a close call
A staircase leads down to a room with lava in the middle and a blaze. One of them keeps knocking the other's arrows out of the air. "I'm secretly working for them." There's a spawner sitting on top of a chest, and somebody reaches for a water bucket and jokes that you could build a box around one like it and farm extinguishing potions. "That seems dangerous."
Then John goes quiet. "I'm gonna be on mute for a minute." The fighting doesn't stop, though. The creeper spawners are fast, and around the eight minute mark Basket's health drops to two hearts. "I just realized I'm about to die." Basket makes it. Up top they find another lava room, more spawners on both sides, and a chest they mark as trapped for when they come back for loot.
Into the lava
A ladder takes them down. A creeper shows up, then lava. Then John gets shot off a ledge and falls in. "Oh no! John just died with all his stuff in the lava." The chat line puts it a little more kindly: johnfal_92 tried to swim in lava to escape Serpensia Lord. John goes back to re-equip, and the shooter gets taken care of. "Got revenge, cool."
Out of arrows, out of blocks
Past that is a dead end, with a sniper tucked inside the wall. Now the supplies are running low. "I don't have any arrows. And I'm out of blocks, actually." Then a chest gets opened by accident, which turns out fine: arrows, coal, and a Looting II sword. A ladder on the far side leads down again. "I missed your voice, John."
The gate to the Cave of Winds
The lower floor has lava over the ceiling, a spider spawner, and two more spawners up above. There's also a chest that nobody opens. "That feels like a trap." Dash whispers that their sword is at zero durability, and a pile of spare swords gets offered. "Take your pick." A big mob is sitting in the lava, and they figure it's probably important to kill.
They light up and break the spawners first. Upstairs is a gate with signs: beyond it, the Halls give way to the Cave of Winds, and it opens when three pressure plates hidden in the Halls are stood on at the same time. Next to it is the spawner for that big mob. They leave it alone for now, in case it drops something they need.
