Between episodes, Team B.S. built "some pretty primitive grinders" in the crypt. Under the cobble there's a spawner, and the Gravedigger mobs with their knockback shovels drop down into a spot where they can be beaten up for zombie flesh. A second one does the same for skeletons, which means arrows. "You can see on my bar, I've got 48 arrows right now." The deaths sidebar opens at Scoti_Garbidis 17 and BasketMC 9.
Moving out of the crypt
The plan is to get more resources, and to get everything they already have back to the tower in one piece. They load up on leather armor, leave the soul sand and the crafting bench, and run for the back door. "There's a creeper like right here, careful." They make it. "I think we have done it."
At the tower they sort chests. There are three emeralds, and a short debate about how many the map has. "I thought it said in the description for this game that there was one emerald block per level." Nobody is sure. With arrows coming in, one of them makes a bow, and there's enough wood for a couple of pickaxes. One crafting mistake turns a stack of planks into wood slabs. "Only six, though. That's not too bad."
A gathering episode
"This is the gathering episode, right?" They cut wood, collect coal, and find a chest of bones. A skeleton that pops out of a grave gives away a spider spawner nearby, and it gets a torch. Both of them are sitting at 38 levels. Gold boots turn up too.
With torches in hand, they pick a target: "the place with some spiders where you died a bunch in the beginning." The idea is to spam torches, kill the mobs, break the spawners they don't want and loot the rest. A witch is in the way, and it goes down. Food is already running short.
Down in the webs
It falls apart fast. Someone drops into a hole by the spider spawner, and chat reads "BasketMC was shot by Skeleton." Then "Scoti_Garbidis was blown up by Creeper." The webs make everything slow. "Nothing can move in this web."
The gear ends up in the hole, and the trips back in to get it keep going wrong. Two more creeper deaths for Scoti come through the same way. Basket goes next: "BasketMC was slain by Gravedigger," then "BasketMC was blown up by Creeper," then "BasketMC was slain by Spider." "We're pacing each other right now." There's a spawner right in the web pile. Asked whether the spider spawner is gone, one of them admits it only got torches. "Well, next time, break it."
The spawner comes out
One of them crafts a golden apple and hands it over. "Eat it, dude. Probably a waste, but eat it." Then: "Okay, I have taken out the spawner." The pit opens up a little after that, with a chest of "good stuff" and another spawner over the hill.
A last chest up the hill has apples, a bow with arrows, and "pants of a fallen warrior." They split the apples and torch one more spawner, but a creeper is on the other side of the wall and skeletons are lining up. "We gotta fall back, end this episode."
