Team B.S. is back on the rooftops of Little Empire, and the spiders are still coming up the walls. Basket has the Archangel's Blade in hand. The deaths sidebar opens at Scoti_Garbidis 50 and BasketMC 37.
Torches for the spawners
The plan is simple enough. "I want to light up these spider spawners just so they stop jumping up here and then we can work on lighting up the outside rim and then working our way inside the buildings." Blocks are short, so they pool dirt and torches, and one of them jumps down to start on the spawners.
Three deaths in three minutes
It goes wrong fast. "There's a creeper there and then there was like 40 other things." Basket's screen cuts to the respawn room with an empty hotbar and the chat line "BasketMC was slain by Dwarven Berserker." "I'm dead by the way."
Scoti goes next: "Scoti_Garbidis was slain by Dwarven Scout." A minute later Basket is down again, this time to "BasketMC was slain by Spider." The sidebar now reads 51 and 39. "I'm questioning my own existence right now."
The sword is gone
Chat shows Basket teleporting back to Little Empire. The death spot turns up nothing. "Yeah, here's where I died before. I don't see any stuff." Then the verdict: "Yeah, my stuff is gone. Oh well, that was a fun sword."
So it's back to basics. Basket gathers wood and opens the crafting grid. "All right, I got a couple pickaxes. We're in business now." On the way across, one of them gets a gift: "Want a helmet?" "Sure, I'd like a sword too if you've got one."
Clockwise, or not
The split to clear the spawners along the wall doesn't quite go to plan. "I vote we go clockwise." Later: "I went clockwise." "No you went counterclockwise." Still, "at least we cleared up more stuff," and two spawners are down.
Then the find they wanted. In a building that's half blown up, one of them calls the other over: "orange wool." There's talk of one more wool somewhere, "but probably not right in this town here."
Two wools on the board
They head home, one of them straight across the wheat field. "It makes for a better ending." At the monument, chat says it plainly: "BasketMC and Scoti_Garbidis White Wool has been placed. Area defeated: The Last Sanctuary." Then "Scoti_Garbidis and BasketMC Orange Wool has been placed." The white wool had been sitting in the base chest, never placed. "We placed the orange wool, but not the white wool."
There's a bit of confusion over what color the area's second wool is. "Magenta is next." "I thought it was orange and turquoise or orange and light blue."
"We're about three hours into our ten hours to beat that level." They still need to go back for the other wool, the emeralds and the supplies.
Three deaths this episode. The sidebar goes from Scoti_Garbidis 50 and BasketMC 37 to 51 and 39. Wools now stand at 2 of 16. No new emerald block goes on, so emerald blocks stay at 1 of 16.
