Death Row: Ragecraft 2 Episode 41

  • Published on

The title card says it plainly: Death Row. Team B.S. stands at the entrance, and the deaths sidebar opens at Scoti_Garbidis 60 and BasketMC 44. Last episode ended at 60 and 43, so the counter opens at 44 for Basket. "This is death row." "Yeah, let's do it. We have to do it."

Locked up

The way in is a dark wooden corridor, and purple rings flash on the walls. "I just got teleported. I don't know where I am." "Something weird happened, there was purple rings." A moment later they are standing in a cell block of beds and iron bars. "Okay, we're in jail. It's real dark."

A cookie lands in Basket's hotbar from a chest in the hallway. "I got the cookie." Another chest holds a stone pickaxe and a book titled "Death Row by Ragecraft II." One of them reads it out: "Only the worst of the worst were kept in this prison." "Aww, that means us." The prisoners were brought back to life and executed over and over, the book says, until they "escaped their cells" and "took control of the prison."

Back to Intersection 1

A sign in the cell block points "Back to Intersection 1." "It is Alfred the Giant dude, that's who that is." "That's not very exciting." With that path sealed off, "now we only have one way to defend."

The Undead Prisoners

The prisoners turn up soon enough, with name tags that read Undead Prisoner. Basket swings the Luminous Blade at them while they burn. The cells have their own surprises. "There's a creeper in a room and then a piston." "They're creeper rooms that open up on the side." "I want to try and keep spawners if you can."

The cookie

Then Basket eats the cookie. "No, no, no, no, don't! We needed that cookie, it was a component."

The next chest is a good one. It holds Blood-soaked Pants with Protection III, and an Antidote. Basket already has Boots of the Dwarven Militia with Protection II, and the armor gets split up: "I have protection two boots and protection two pants." "Alright, I'm going to take the pants then." "I'm out of room." "Yeah, me too."

Taking the high ground

The next room has platforms, spawners up top and down below, and creepers dropping between them. "So we should go take the high ground maybe." They build a dirt bridge across, torch a pillar and start blocking windows, because "this has skeletons written all over it." It still gets messy. "I'm on fire, this is real bad. Put me out." "I got five hearts."

Once it settles down, the chest at the back pays off. Inside are a Luminous Sword with Smite II and Fire Aspect I, a Potion of Purification, a Blood-soaked Tunic with Protection III, a Potion of Regeneration and an Incinerating Bow with Flame I and Unbreaking II. "You can have the flame bow." "There will be more flame bows in the future."

Lava from above

Down the stairs is a room full of prisoners. "A big stinky crappy room." After some bow work, one of them has another idea. "I could drop lava down there, would that help?" "Yeah, do it, man." Lava pours into the room below.

No deaths this time. The sidebar opens and closes at Scoti_Garbidis 60 and BasketMC 44. They don't visit the monument, so wools stay at 3 of 16 and emerald blocks at 2 of 16.
