Team B.S. picks up in the lava cavern, right where the glass-covered pit was. They had logged out and back in, hoping to shake the lag. "There are 200 entities somewhere." The deaths sidebar opens at Scoti_Garbidis 77 and BasketMC 57, the same numbers the last episode ended on.
Water down the pit
Green zombies wander the sand around the pit. The plan from last time was to break the glass and pour water down onto the chest below, and it works. "I put a hole in it and I was like hey, can you put your water down here? And then you did."
Then the payoff: "This kind of looks like a fleecy box. It is the fleecy box." One of them sums it up: "We skipped, like, two-thirds of the level, I think." On the way out, Basket opens a chest of gear and iron ingots.
Five of sixteen
Back in the monument hall, the row holds White, Orange, Magenta and Light Blue wool, with empty slots after them.
A yellow block goes into the next slot, and chat reads "Scoti_Garbidis and BasketMC Yellow Wool has been placed. Area defeated: Brimstone River." So the lava cavern finally has a name on screen. "Hey, we have five wools." "Things are looking up." They read the number over the next door: "This is intersection two, see that two up there."
Into the sewers
Past a sign reading Checkpoint, the next stretch is mossy stone brick and dark water. "We're about to enter Sewers. Intersection 2. Maybe." A chest sits in the wall, and nobody trusts it. "Is it trapped? I'm gonna say maybe." "Who's gonna fall for the trap?" "I will." There's glowstone and glass behind it, and inside, by their account, "a sword and some chain mail and leather."
Squids for heads
The sewer mobs are dark blue figures with squid heads. "This is some Call of Cthulhu garbage right there." They don't hit hard, but they come with company. "The squids for heads is killing me." Creepers turn up as well, and the poison spiders seem to come from above: "It was spawner up in that ceiling."
Then mobs start getting launched up out of the floor. The source is "a big old like four by four pit with a spawner in the middle of it," and one of them breaks it with a pick. Further on, Basket's hearts turn green with poison, and one of them is sure it's the end. "I'm dying, I'm gonna die." "You can't die from poison." "Half a heart."
Fighting up the ledge
The rest of the mobs pour out of a narrow opening up high, and the only way on is through them. "There's so many of them, and there's creepers up here." "Don't even worry about killing him. Just fight your way up through him." Once the crowd is busy elsewhere, one of them goes for the spawner underneath "while they're still distracted."
They stop there, with "Intersection 2 next episode. Maybe." The sidebar opens and closes at Scoti_Garbidis 77 and BasketMC 57, with no deaths this episode. The Yellow Wool brings the monument to 5 of 16 wools, and emerald blocks stay at 3 of 16.
