Team B.S. is still in the sewers, and the episode opens in a scramble. "It's trapped, run, run, run." The deaths sidebar opens at Scoti_Garbidis 79 and BasketMC 57. Episode 55 ended with Scoti on 77; this episode the counter opens at 79. Gear went missing in the chaos too: "Where's my brand new chainmail hat? I had a brand new chainmail hat."
Slain by a Water Elemental
The dark blue, squid-headed mobs are back in the water. Less than two minutes in, chat reads "Scoti_Garbidis was slain by Water Elemental," and the sidebar ticks Scoti up to 80. Chat names the killer, though nothing on screen says which of the sewer mobs it was.
Down the waterfall
Scoti's things went somewhere, and the best guess is "it probably got swept down this waterfall." Basket drops down the shaft after them. It gets rough on the way back, and one of them only just makes it: "I just splashed myself so I didn't die because I was beat up real bad." A crafting table and a chest end up by the torches in the sewer, and Scoti comes back to sort through the pile. "Basket's down there trying to get my stuff. What a good friend."
Lighting the catwalk
The mobs aren't only coming out of the water. "They're also spawning from up above." The plan is to break the spawner at the bottom and light the ledge overhead, which runs into a supply problem: "I only got nine torches." One spawner goes out, then another. "Poisonous spider spawner? Good job."
Every chest looks like a trap now. "Every chest is trapped in our heads." A chest on a stone pillar gets opened on a count of three, and the reward is "chainmail crap" plus experience bottles. Basket's level already reads 49 on the hotbar, and one of them shrugs it off: "I'm at 49 levels right now."
A cavern full of sand
They follow a sign on the sewer wall ("Signs are good"), and the tunnel opens into a huge sandy cavern with trees, water and wooden houses. "There's a house down there. It's nice and lit up." One of them spots the target from below: "I see the intersection is way up top."
One of them reads out a list of trades, "Protection 1 books for enchanting bottles," and later finds something better: "improved coal drill... efficiency three, fortune three." A chest of pink potions turns up too. "Panic potions. Okay, I like those." There is a quest as well, but it can wait. "We'll come back to that guy with the quest."
Yaalwen the Mystic
In a red-walled room full of bookshelves stands a villager tagged Yaalwen the Mystic. The trades are experience bottles for an enchanted book, redstone ore for a Health Augmentation, and bedrock for bedrock.
The potion is the prize. Its tooltip reads "+4 Max Health" and "This powerful potion grants you a permanent health bonus." The catch is the redstone. "So we have to silk touch redstone." And it might be "probably a one-time trade."
They stop there. The sidebar opens at Scoti_Garbidis 79 and BasketMC 57 and closes at 80 and 57, with one death this episode, the Water Elemental. The monument isn't shown, so the count stays at 5 of 16 wools and 3 of 16 emerald blocks.
