This one is a salvage run. "We're just trying to run back, go get our stuff," one of them explains, and the stuff in question is the gear they left behind in the last episode. The deaths sidebar opens at Scoti_Garbidis 83 and BasketMC 59, right where the last episode left it.
Straight back into it
The route runs back through the sandstone halls with the red carpet and down into the stone brick rooms above the lava. One of them is glad about an earlier choice: "It's a good thing we didn't grab that emerald." The return trip turns out shorter than it felt. "It just felt like a lot longer, because it was."
It doesn't last. Down among the lava pools, Basket's death screen comes up almost at once: "BasketMC was slain by Arsonist." "That guy killed me so quick." Then, a little later: "I should have poured the water bucket in there right away." The sidebar ticks over to BasketMC 60.
Sorting the pile
Basket comes back with the Tempest Blade on the hotbar and gets to work on the large chests where their gear ended up. "Some of the good stuff survived." The tooltips show a Bow with Power IV and Unbreaking III and a pair of Brimstone Boots with Blast Protection II and Fire Protection II. One of them notices that a quick wooden build was a mistake: "The whole base I made out of wood is on fire. I made the worst choice ever."
The damage keeps coming from somewhere they can't see. "What am I getting hit by?" The theory they settle on is a witch: "The witch got us with poison and wither." Basket keeps a water bucket on the hotbar for the lava around the rooms.
Another chest holds rare potions with names to match. A Potion of Disintegration brings Wither III and Weakness II, and a Potion of Frost brings Instant Damage III and Slowness II. Neither looks like something to drink on purpose.
The obsidian floor
Through the glass-walled library rooms, one of them points out something new: "There's an obsidian box... the bottom of it is obsidian." There is no direct path to it, and nether wart is still missing ("We didn't find nether wart yet"). Basket checks a Mithril Chestplate (Protection I, Unbreaking II) on the way. A ladder leads down, a room "full of creepers" gets secured, and the chest on the obsidian floor has what they came for. The tooltip reads Lime Wool, Area: Brimstone Labs. "Lime wool? Yeah. Sweet."
Retreat
Getting out is messier than getting in. "Retreat! Retreat, retreat!" "Retreat where? Where are you?" "I'm in a very bad place." One of them is "out of healing potions" and drops back down to heal. Then the news: "Good news is I got the wool, bad news is you got a humongous line of dudes pathing to you right now." They find a way "up, down and around," and the counter holds through all of it.
Wool number six
Back at the monument, the chat line comes up: "BasketMC and Scoti_Garbidis Lime Wool has been placed. Area defeated: Brimstone Labs." "We almost have a rainbow. Six wools, never would have thought it." Then: "Six wools in 60 episodes. We're doing pretty good."
The sidebar closes at Scoti_Garbidis 83 and BasketMC 60, with one death for Basket this episode. That makes 6 of 16 wools on the monument, and the emerald blocks stay at 3 of 16.
