Team B.S. is still in the Ninja Academy's jungle cavern, still without its wool. The deaths sidebar opens at Scoti_Garbidis 92 and BasketMC 71, so Scoti's count opens one higher than at the end of Episode 67.
Too many spawners
The cavern is as busy as ever. "Yeah there's too many spawners around." "There's a creeper coming at you!" "There's witches over here man. I'm not digging the witches." One of them is taking arrows: "I'm getting shot up by this stupid skeleton."
Digging into the piles of leaves hasn't turned anything up, and the frustration is starting to show. "I'm starting to think setting this wood on fire was not a bad idea."
Know when to run
One of them heads back to the start of the area to drop off loot and reread the letter that opens the level. Read aloud, it says to "try to find and retrieve the wool. You need to move fast, be observant and know when to pick a fight and when to avoid it." The takeaway: "there's probably buildings with the entrances that are hard to see."
So they split up and look for windows and gaps. The big dojo has already been cleared. Its chest is a letdown ("Yeah, that chest is poop"), and the spiders in there are invisible. "There isn't some like tunnel in the water right, that we're missing?" Nobody can say.
Dark rooms full of everything else
The search does find rooms. One is guarded by creepers, with a creeper spawner inside. "Whoa, no wool." The chest holds "a book of unbreaking, a bow, iron sword, iron pants." Another dark room, another chest, this one with a Potion of Agility in among the grass.
"So much goody goodies but no what we're looking for."
Screw it
Then the trees go up. "I'm burning that tree down." The flames spread through the leaves fast. "Usually you end up with quite a bit of sparse material, but we seem to be very effectively burning right now."
Down in a small room behind glass, Basket opens a chest and there it is: Pink Wool, its tooltip reading "Area: Ninja Academy." "We just set fire to this whole place out of frustration, and look what Basket discovered."
One of them isn't finished: "I don't think I'm done setting stuff on fire. This place totally deserves it." That lasts until "I just broke my flint and steel, so I'm done doing that."
Pink on the monument
Chat shows "Teleporting to: The Nexus," and they walk the wool down the monument hall. "I think it's your turn man." Basket sets the Pink Wool in its slot next to Lime, and chat reads "Scoti_Garbidis and BasketMC Pink Wool has been placed" and "Area defeated: Ninja Academy."
"And we're ninjas!" Next up, by their own words: "gray wool."
The sidebar opens at Scoti_Garbidis 92 and BasketMC 71 and closes at the same numbers, so nobody dies this episode. The monument now holds 7 of 16 wools. Emerald blocks aren't shown this time and stay at 4 of 16.
