The deaths sidebar opens at Scoti_Garbidis 133 and BasketMC 99. Team B.S. is still in the pillared hall, the "other Nexus" of the nightmare, and the plan is to work over to the other side. Basket's inventory shows an Iron Pickaxe with Silk Touch I, Efficiency IV and Unbreaking III, kept for any diamonds they find.
A safety measure for the wool
The wool is on everyone's mind. "If we don't get this wool back, we can't beat this game, right?" They check who carries what ("I have one." "Okay, I gave you two"), and there is a theory about dying on purpose to get home with everything, which nobody wants to test. "I don't want to die in this level just to find out."
Then a simpler idea: "I'm gonna put the brown wool in the brown wool." Scoti steps up to the row of slots along the hall wall. "Nope. Something activated though." Further down, one of them reads a sign aloud: "Welcome to the other Nexus. This will be your new home, whether you like it or not."
Spawners and a pit
Back out over the lava and red mushrooms, the fight is with spawners and the mobs pouring out of them. One of them calls out spawners "above the door" and "those freaky pumpkin headed blaze guys." Splitting up helps: "Splitting up and going different sides may not be a bad idea just to reduce the numbers." In the middle of it, one of them spots the answer: "Did you see the pit down to the left?" "Oh yes, that's where we have to go."
Search the ground
Down the pit there are chests and more spawners to break. A creeper comes at them, and one of them works out that "he spawned out of where these coal blocks are." The armor is wearing thin. "My armor's almost broken." "Oh, mine too." The talk turns to an anvil and the spare diamond armor in the chests they've been skipping.
Then: "Your wool is on the ground, dude." "Oh, is that what those blocks are? Oh my god, those are kind of important." Soon after, the Brown Wool shows in Basket's inventory. Nearby, one of them reads a sign aloud: "Looking for a way out? Sorry, but it's not that easy."
The island chest and the ghast
The goal becomes a chest on a little island in the lava river. They clear the spawners around it, and Scoti is the one standing at it. A Diamond Shovel tooltip shows on screen, and the rest comes in calls: "All right, I got the emerald." "Ooh, sharpness five. Book." "I'm gonna take this flint and steel."
An anvil sits on the ground next to Scoti, but the repair they want is "too expensive." Then a ghast shows up overhead, firing, and its blast "just blew it up," in one of their words. The apologies follow: "I'm sorry dude, that sucks." "Hey, you got inventory space now."
Out of the lava
Across the way, Basket's screen fills with lava. "I'm trying to get up out of the lava, and I can't!" "Put down water!" It ends well: "I ran back across the bridge." "We must have really good fire protection in our armor." Potions are running low and a few more spawners go. Then: "Dude, your chest plate's gone." "Oh, I can wear the diamond chestplate."
With nowhere obvious left to go and one of them "actually kind of hurt," they stop while it's safe. "You want to end the episode here while we're safe?" The credits roll, and nothing plays after them.
The sidebar closes at Scoti_Garbidis 133 and BasketMC 99. Nobody dies. The brown wool is still carried, not placed, and no emerald block or upgrade block goes on the monument.
