Squingy Butt 1000: Ragecraft 2 Episode 127

  • Published on

The deaths sidebar opens at Scoti_Garbidis 150 and BasketMC 113, and the title card reads "Squingy Butt 1000." With the green wool on the monument, Team B.S. heads into the next area, and the plan, as one of them puts it, is to get the last two wools tonight.

Half a gig

The first problem is the game itself. "This is a very FPS intensive area," one of them says, and Basket's F3 screen shows Minecraft running with 499 MB of memory. "You only have a half of a gig." There's a short break ("We'll be right back"), and when they're back one of them reports, "I increase my memory, it's good." The lag that's left gets blamed on the server and all the explosions.

A hallway of blazes

The way in is a long stone hallway with lava under glass in the floor and blazes along the walls. "Oh, blazes. In your face." "Why am I on fire?" one of them asks. "I should have worn my fire protection." At least one water bucket made the trip, and the hallway is soon running with water while they fight through.

Story time

At the end of the hallway is a stone platform under an orange sky, with a chest holding two books. One of them reads the first one aloud: "Ever since they escaped from the Nether, King Protox and his Nether horde have prepared this invasion and built up their war machinery." The way to stop it is "to destroy their siege towers and infiltrate their fortress on the other side of this area," and after that, "Protox himself, the most terrifying enemy you will ever fight."

The second book is the objective: destroy the four siege towers by activating each one's self-destruction mechanism, and if the TNT goes off by accident, dig through the obsidian and use the command block by hand. Down below are the wooden towers. "A siege tower has wheels."

Siege tower one

They bridge out from the platform in a straight line and drop down onto the first tower, with the water bucket to break the fall. A hole in the roof shows the TNT inside. Down the ladder are a spawner, cobwebs and a zombie pigman in a gold helmet with the name tag "Netherhorde Warlord."

Next to it is a sign: "Self-destruction. Use in case of emergency." One of them breaks the spawner, and then the button gets pressed. "Run!" The tower blows, they scramble up the waterfall, and chat confirms it: "Scoti_Garbidis and BasketMC Siege Tower 1 has been destroyed." "Tower number one, baby."

Back for supplies

Getting back is harder now "with that hallway all blowed up." They break spawners and put out lava on the way, then decide to go home for more blocks before the next tower. Chat shows "Scoti_Garbidis Teleporting to: The Nexus," and Basket sorts through the chests at their base.

Someone also remembers the emerald. "I think that we should turn in the emerald block." They walk to the emerald row of the monument, but Basket's screen never shows a block going in. They stop by a chest under the row instead. "What do you think's in here?" "Junk." "I think it's gonna be boots." "We find out next time."

A short clip plays after the credits, back in the stone tunnels, and nobody dies in it.

The sidebar closes at Scoti_Garbidis 150 and BasketMC 113. This episode: Scoti 0 deaths, Basket 0. Siege Tower 1 is destroyed. No wool or upgrade block is placed, and no emerald block placement is shown.
