The death counter reads Scoti 21, Basket 9 as this one opens. Team B.S. is still in the Pharaoh's chamber under the Zepharin Sands, picking the fight back up where last episode stopped. One of them heads straight for the middle of the arena to collect the gear they dropped there, and then it's back to work.
Three obelisks and an immortal boss
The fight has rules. Chat keeps announcing "Obelisk 1 has been deactivated," and while the obelisks are up, the Pharaoh just tells them "I ... am ... IMMORTAL!" So they split up and hit the buttons at the numbered spots. The trouble is that the numbers they gave the spots don't match the numbers chat uses, so they rename them in the middle of the fight. Nobody is sure that helps.
There are buffs around the room too. One spot gives Resistance, and someone built a ladder up to a red buff, which turns out to be Strength, "just in case you're a curious monkey who wants to go up there." The Pharaoh has its own tricks. "Come closer! I have something for you..." means an area buff is about to land on it, "Rise, my scarabs!" brings silverfish, and when things go badly it runs off: "I must go back to my throne." They also try not to knock it into the lava, because they think that resets it.
Out of arrows, then out of lives
One of them runs out of arrows and has to melee, so the other throws some over. About three minutes in, chat reads "BasketMC was shot by Zepharin_Pharaoh," and Basket's count goes to 10. The bed they set nearby last time saves a long walk, and Basket's boots come back from the floor of the arena. Right after, one of them gets down to two and a half hearts and backs off.
Get rekt
The last half of the Pharaoh's health is a slog of buttons, buffs and backing off. Then chat shows its final line, "You will never kill m...aaaargh, oh no! NO!", and the screen says "Congratulations! You have defeated the Pharaoh." Both of them claim the kill right away. "We rock, we're the best."
Up to the Magenta Crystal
With the boss gone, Scoti climbs a ladder up a tall pillar into a stone structure hanging from the ceiling. One of them hopes for a pile of emeralds up there, but the other figures they already have all the emeralds in this section. What they do get is the Magenta Crystal.
Zepharin Sands, done
Back at the Nexus monument, whoever placed the Orange Crystal says it was their turn last time, so the other one gets this one. The Magenta Crystal goes in next to the Orange, fireworks go off, and chat reads "Congratulations! You have defeated: Zepharin Sands (2/2)."
They already know the way to the next area: down the spooky hallway they found a few episodes back. It ends at Scoti 21, Basket 10, with 3 of 16 crystals and 2 of 12 emerald blocks on the monuments.
