They're still in the frozen valley, and the counter still reads Scoti 72, Basket 71. They take out a charged creeper spawner by the stairs while its creepers blow up around them. There's an emerald below them too. "Let's get that emerald." It can wait for the way back. Then they reach a checkpoint. The episode's title comes from an off-topic story one of them tells around here, not from anything in the map.
Snow on top of everything
It's snowing hard, and it's "really hard to see." Would it be cheating to turn the snow off? "I would say yes, because it's possible that it's part of the map." So it stays on. One of them gets up on the wall to look around, and they spot the emerald again, "all the way across the way." One of the Summoning Scrolls is down at the bottom.
There's obsidian under the snow, laid out in a pattern. The snow melts around the mobs, which throws one of them off, and they wonder if it's a trap they're meant to fall through. "Just stand in the obsidian, you're probably okay."
A chest here has a Protection IV chestplate, a book, an iron shovel and a Huntsman's Sword with Bane of Arthropods V. "Spiders gonna get wrecked."
Spawners under the ice
"Remember, the spawners are underneath the ice." Charged creepers, bow guys, an angry enderman and poison spiders that make the screen zoom in all show up at once. They clear the spawners outside and head in. Inside, more spiders drop from the ceiling, and they put torches on the walls "so we don't melt out." One of them pillars up into a corner while zombies and a charged creeper come up the stairs. "They're so fast!" They block off the hallway and push forward one wall at a time.
Robe of the Ice Mage
A side room with one spawner has a robe in the chest. It's the Robe of the Ice Mage: Protection IV, Thorns V, unbreakable, +30% max health, and a small chance to stun every nearby enemy whenever you take damage. "You should wear that instead." The old set is "all fire resistant stuff." A moment later: "Oh my lord, the hearts. So many hearts." "That was 30, isn't it?"
The trap that went off early
There's an emerald in the next room, past a wide-area spawner and a creeper. Behind them, something sizzles and blows up. "It was a trap." They take the emerald and then look back at where they came in. "This all blew up." The way they read it, the spawners updated the gravel, and "we were supposed to hear the sizzle, freak out, run back, and then fall in." What actually happened: "I think I heard a creeper," and then everything blew up.
The other emerald
They climb out and head back down for the emerald they saw at the start. "I have feather falling on." There are charged creeper spawners in the ceiling, and they work through the spawners until one of them calls out, "I've got the emerald." Then they head back toward the beginning to end the episode.
Nobody dies, so the counter still reads 72 and 71. The monument isn't shown, so it stays at 11 of 16 crystals and 7 of 12 emerald blocks, with two more emeralds picked up this episode.
