Last time Losing Your Marbles cost Scoti three lives and the Huntsman's bow. This time they come back dressed for it. Off camera they enchanted a pile of gear at the Scorched Underpass, so they show up in shiny iron with better bows, a better pick and a backup set that isn't quite as good. "The idea is we're not gonna die." The death counter reads Basket 47, Scoti 42.
Clockwise around the room
They could stash their stuff in a chest and try the jumping section, or keep working their way around the room. They pick the walk. The pillar that caused all the trouble last episode is their first worry, and they try to get a better angle on it before anything spawns.
It doesn't stay quiet for long. Archers start shooting from up on a pillar, zombies come around the side, and a creeper keeps trying to path toward them. One of them spots where the archers are coming from and climbs up to deal with the spawner. After that the mobs even fight each other a little. They light a second spawner that turns out to be half lit already, and someone heads off to make "a buttload of torches."
The porcupine
Around the ten minute mark it gets close. The melee mobs have flame on their weapons, and one of them is burning and calling it: "I'm gonna die, I gotta get out of here." A splash potion and some food pull them back. "I look like a frickin' porcupine."
Even with a spawner broken, archers keep showing up, probably from somewhere they haven't lit yet. One of them is done "playing Mr. Nice Guy."
A planet with ghasts on it
Then they take stock of the whole cavern. Way out past the jumping pads there's a lapis platform, which probably has something good on it and looks like suicide to reach. A big floating planet hangs over the lava, and the thing spinning on top of it is a ghast. There are spawners under the planet, spawners on the little floating bits, creepers on one platform and a spider spawner on another. "Basically there's spawners everywhere. The end."
Something near the top of the planet looks like the fleecy box, or maybe the way into it. They start bridging up slowly, one of them building while the other watches the left side and calls out anything that spawns. A ghast shows up anyway.
Light gray wool
The box is wrapped in glowstone, so they break it away as they go. "Don't stand on any glowstone." One of them can't believe they're about to beat the level this episode, and then something hits hard out of nowhere. "Oh, glowstone guys. Get in here!" They pile into the box with one of them nearly dead.
Inside is the usual glass and red brick, and a chest packed with wool. The tooltip says Light Gray Wool. "One, two, three. Light gray wool, baby. That was a lot easier than I thought it was going to be."
Running out
They don't get to enjoy it. Light Paladins, the glowstone-headed mobs from the Tower of Light, are waiting on the platform to ambush them, and there's a ghast right next to it. One of them takes a shot that nearly hits the other in the face and hits the mob instead.
They talk about that lapis platform one more time, decide it's bad news, and leave it. The plan is to run, because "it's more dramatic." They sprint back the way they came, and next time they'll be at the monument with the wool. The counter never moves all episode: Basket 47, Scoti 42.
