Part 1 ended with the fleecy box in sight, and Part 2 picks up right there, already in a fight. "Well, this is obviously a new episode, right?" "I didn't even know if we officially ended it." The counter starts where it left off, Scoti 57, Basket 55. It's a short one, about seven and a half minutes.
Into the box
The room around the fleecy box is crawling. "There's so many joining us." At one point there are "like twenty guys" between the two of them. Basket gets into the box and opens the chest, which is packed with green wool. "Alright, I'm gonna take a couple green wool." Basket takes three.
Digging out
Getting in was the easy part. Going back the way they came doesn't appeal, so the plan is to go up. There are probably blaze spawners up top, but they may have already cleared the room that would have been the big problem, the one with the poisonous spiders. They dig, hit stone, argue about direction, and then: "I see sandstone. I see the light." "We made it, we win!" "We haven't made it back yet, man."
Scoti goes down
They drink speed and roll out, and right away someone realizes there's no fire resistance left. "Why'd you go down there?" "Oh, 'cause I'm stupid." "This isn't gonna work out very well, is it?" It doesn't. The chat line reads Scoti_Garbidis was slain by Fire Mite, and the counter moves to Scoti 58, Basket 55.
"I wish I had fire resistance, I would make this a lot easier." They used it all, or at least all they had on them. The death chest brings a bit of payback too: "Role reversal. I'm the one questioning you about what you did with the death chest."
The run for it
The question now is whether to just sprint it, or use an ender pearl. "Whatever you do, I believe in you." Scoti offers to meet Basket halfway and be the cover man, and the stakes are clear: "You have the only wool that will survive right now."
It's a mess of lava, mites and a creeper. "Don't knock me into the lava, you jerks." "Just run, Basket, run, save yourself. Don't turn back for me." The pickaxe turns out to be the real help, because there are barriers ahead, and the way through is to plow straight through the netherrack. The ender pearl never gets thrown. Once they're out, a block goes over the opening "so no terrible badness ever comes out again."
Wool in the chest
Back at base, the three green wool go into a chest with the diamonds. They don't place it. The plan is to get the last wool next time "and then we will have beaten this thing," and put the wools up together at the end. Scoti still has arrows sticking out when they sign off. "Too many high-fives."
