They have their coal, and they haven't really looked at this area at all. Scoti almost opens the episode by introducing himself as Kurt J. Mac.
Glass over the coral
It's a cave of pink and purple trees on little islands. There's a lot of glass, and torches in the trees, which seems odd. Under the water there's what looks like a coral reef, with glass over it and more torches under the glass. There's coal around, too, if they need more.
One of them spots a chest down in the water. Is it a trap? Doesn't seem like it. A guardian is down there, and their stone tools are not very effective, as Pokémon would put it. Arrows don't do anything underwater either. The chest has boots with Depth Strider 3, so their guess is that a lot of this level is underwater, and maybe there isn't much up top. One of them thinks he had a Depth Strider helmet that's probably back at base.
Lighting up the perimeter
The plan is to make the outside part safe first and go into the water after. So far it's just natural spawns, no spawners, though there are a lot of endermen. A skeleton beats one of them up badly enough that he builds a little cubby to fight back from. At another point one of them is down to four hearts. It becomes the lighting-up-the-perimeter episode.
Something in the flowers
Then one of them finds a spawner, skeletons by the look of it, and suddenly there are four skeletons on him. He drops to one heart and someone sings at him to eat the chicken. The zombies seem to come up out of the ground, and that's where the spawner is, hidden. That was well hidden, one of them says. Lots of flowers might be a hint.
Should they keep one? They have a grinder they've barely had to use, so no. One of them gets beaten up badly enough to run almost back to the beginning. The other breaks down flowers as he lights his way toward the middle, and the last three spawners get cleared.
Golden Freezers and an emerald
One chest holds splash potions of Regeneration and Healing. A treasure chest has Golden Freezers, boots with Frost Walker I and Unbreaking I. Those will be very unhelpful, one of them points out, when the other jumps first and he lands on the ice and breaks his legs.
Out past the chest there's something else. It's an emerald. It gets carried back to the ender chest at the start. One of them thinks there's another emerald inside a green stalactite on the ceiling, and there's a structure with a spawner inside the lake. They're about to head down to it when they realize that's the episode.
