The last episode opens with the INVERSION logo over a beacon beam rising out of the sea. It is raining at the server's new spawn, a grassy plaza with a decorated Christmas tree, a giant statue and rows of signed chests. "This is the new spawn, I haven't actually been here until today," Basket says. The other players held a gift exchange here, and Basket has come late.
Gifts for everyone
Basket has already put out a chest for each player, every sign ending "From BasketMC." "I ended up getting everybody the same thing," Basket admits. One chest open on screen holds TNT, diamonds and lapis lazuli.
A cold reputation
The first gift, from Gifted, is food and a card: "Your base is so cold no one will go near it! So here is some food for the lonely nights..." TChels sends blocks of iron, enough for iron golems, with a card signed "Santa Chels" for living in "a giant cold igloo in the middle of nowhere under the sea." TChels is online and types "Thank you so much Basket! That was ver thoughtful!" A chest signed "From: Scoti" holds a Tear of Laughter, which Basket says is from the wither battle.
A trophy and an ashtray
Mitzify's chest holds a bucket and a book titled "VICTORY!" It remembers being paired up with Basket in UHC: "For season 1 of Inversion UHC, we came in 1st place for our team!" The bucket is the trophy, with a warning that if Basket ever gets on Mitzify's nerves, "im calling you bucket from now on." That match is in Inversion UHC Season 1.
Pooka's chests carry joke signatures, and the one Basket opens holds an Ash Tray. "I wonder if that's like a bucket ashtray reference," Basket says.
A trap for MaxWriter
Basket swaps the chest for MaxWriter for a trapped chest and digs a pit underneath for a note block. "Now I forget how redstone works," Basket says, and it takes some rearranging. Mitzify types "i saw it:D" in chat.
Two more gifts
Basket almost leaves without a gift from TheSportsfreak: a book titled "Merry Christmas!", cookies and a card. "I've seen your base and it seems like it gets cold in there, so I got you a sweater and other items for all those cold nights."
A last clip follows in a snow-floored corner of spawn. A chest signed "To Basket From Psycho" holds blocks of lapis, gold and iron, plus emeralds, diamonds and snowballs, more than the inventory can take. Nearby sits a chest with a sign reading "Please don't activate Wither! :-)" Basket agrees: "That would be bad to do in spawn."
The last episode
"So I hope you enjoyed watching," Basket says among the gift chests in the rain, and the end card runs to the last frame. Part of Psycho's gift is still in its chest, and the trap under MaxWriter's present is still waiting. The series ends here, at the new spawn.
