Episode 5 opens underground, with "Episode 5" across the screen. Basket and KSores of the teal team are back from the Nether with blaze rods, and Basket is still at seven hearts. The chat history shows the match is past its 80-minute mark. Now it is time to brew.
Healing first
The first ingredient is Nether wart. "I don't want to screw it up," a voice says. Then come glistering melons, and the brewing stand turns out bottles the tooltip calls "Potion of Healing," with "Instant Health." The pair share out gold nuggets and melon slices so both can keep brewing.
A voice suggests a batch of strength too: "That gives us, like, a lot more damage." Neither of them has a bow, so melee it is. Redstone goes in for a longer regeneration potion, and a voice notes the strength will be a long one as well, "because level two potions are disabled."
Stocked up
Batch after batch goes through the stands. A voice pictures the worst case: "Imagine if we're sitting here just staring at the brewing stands and somebody comes up and kills us both." Nobody does. By the end the count is "three health, one regen, two strength" on one side and "five health" on the other, enough to heal each of them once over. They leave the brewing stand behind, since it is out of blaze powder, and grab a water bucket and a lava bucket.
Gray team out
As they get ready to head up, chat posts "joehillssays was shot by Sir_Oswyn," and right after, "bUMP3rCarzz was shot by Sir_Oswyn." That is the gray team gone. A voice adds that the border should be closing in by now, so they had better hurry.
The blue team in the village
They come up in the village and spot someone right away. A voice calls out "the diamond armor, other side of this building," and the plan is to drink strength first. Then it is a fight in the grass. Isogravity's nameplate fills the screen, in diamond armor with a shield, and Basket swings back with an enchanted sword. The hearts drain fast. Basket drinks a Potion of Healing, but it is not enough.
"You died!" fills the screen: "BasketMC was slain by Isogravity." Basket is out of the match and switched to spectator mode. Right after, chat posts "Kuya_SGA was slain by KSores." The Tab list shows KSores still standing at about two and a half hearts.
KSores finishes it
KSores is the last teal player in the fight. Less than a minute later, chat posts "Isogravity was slain by KSores," and Isogravity answers in chat: "UGH I HAD A POTION." The whole blue team is out. "You had the gear but we had the potions," a voice says.
Watching from the sidelines
Basket spectates as KSores walks among the dropped gear. A voice says a diamond chestplate has ended up at the bottom of the lake. "I have seven instant health potions," a voice says, along with regen, a strength and good gear. A voice also notes that "the border is pretty small."
The episode ends with Basket spectating, out of the match, while KSores walks back through the village. Six players are left: KSores, Sir_Oswyn, MilesPernicious, MrSquishy, Gavisas and alan_animal.
