Episode 6 opens on the "GopherCraft UHC Season IV" title and the four team cards, then picks up in the Nether, next to the portal. A server message reads "120 Minutes" and lists 11 players, all three of Team Belly Buttons among them. The team has a blaze rod from the Nether fortress, and now it wants sand for glass bottles so it can brew potions. One of them goes through the portal first, sneaking, to make sure the other side is safe. "Green light."
Names in the distance
Back in the sandstone base under spawn, the team spots names through the ground. Sneaking hides a nameplate, so everyone tries to stay crouched, which is hard on a ladder: "You can't shift down a ladder." The sand they need is in the base chest, and they try to grab it without giving themselves away. More names show up overhead. "They are definitely coming this way."
The fight upstairs
The other teams find each other first, right on top of the base. "I feel like an ant," someone says, watching the names jump around. The chat fills up in about a minute. TopStiGearGaming and TChels are slain by Virii333. Th3pooka is slain by Steel_Douglas, Steel_Douglas is slain by Th3pooka, Virii333 is slain by Gopherboy, and Scoti_Garbidis is slain by PsychoSFK. TChels types "gg."
Gopherboy and PsychoSFK are left up top, and they stay close. "I heard the anvil," someone whispers, and the team holds still. The seven gold they dropped on the floor despawns while nobody dares to move for it. "Oh no, our gold!"
Glass and a brewing stand
When the two up top drift away, the team digs deeper. Basket smelts the sand into glass, makes bottles and fills them with water. Sayulily's nameplate shows 6 health. Then it sinks in that it is "just us and those two guys." "Final two teams, guys!"
With the blaze rod made into a brewing stand, Basket brews Nether wart into the water bottles to get awkward potions, the base for anything else. There is sugar cane for speed potions, "and get right up on them." Redstone would make potions last longer. Healing is the problem: a health potion needs gold, and the gold is gone. In chat, Sayulily writes, "Psycho, why you got be like that?" and then, "Stop being a sneaky devil."
Digging for gold
Basket starts a staircase down with a diamond pickaxe, staying crouched, hoping to hit a cave with gold in it. Sayulily follows down the tunnel. Glowstone would make the potions stronger, so one teammate heads back through the portal to the Nether to fetch some. "Hope I don't die." Nobody wants to wait too long: if they find nothing soon, they agree, it is time to fight.
The episode ends in the tunnel on the next server message, "140 Minutes." The list is down to five: PsychoSFK, Gopherboy, Sayulily, FriarNurgle and BasketMC. Basket is alive, at five hearts, and the final fight is still to come.
