The season
Season 13 ran on Minecraft 1.8.8, on UHC difficulty, hosted by GopherCraft and run by Basket, who built the command blocks used on the map. Teams of three were picked at random. The world border shrinks with every death: after each one, players get a two-minute warning, and then the border closes in by a set amount over five minutes.
Basket was on the orange team. Eight episodes went up between January 31 and February 14, 2016.

How it ended for Basket
Basket's orange team made it through the first seven days without losing anyone. On the last day pikerize was slain by xmods13 and 8ong8ong went into lava running from bjaydubya, and by the end of Day 8 only two players were left: nihontiger and Basket. Basket ran out of arrows, charged in with the sword, and was slain by nihontiger, finishing second. No win message appears on screen, but nihontiger was the last player left.
