Episode 4 starts right where the last one stopped: Basket, 8ong8ong and pikerize in a stone room with a brand-new enchanting table. There is a lot to spend it on.
Enchanting the iron
Basket's iron leggings come off the table with Protection I, and an iron chestplate with Protection I turns up in the inventory soon after. The team talks over who should carry the diamond sword. "Who's better with the sword? How are you at PvP?" Basket crafts one, and a few minutes later the tooltip reads "Diamond Sword, Sharpness I." Books come off the table too, and somebody puts together an anvil. "Anvil's made."
Gold goes into golden apples. Basket crafts one. Then someone takes stock: "we have one diamond left," three gold, and a golden apple each for two of them. In chat, Epic_Swampert asks, "could someone else die please?"
Back up to the surface
It is halfway through the day, and they decide to move while it is light. They pack up, find their way back up the tunnels and come out into a forest, heading toward spawn. "Besides not having any bows, we're ready." Arrows are the worry: "I've got seven arrows currently," and no flint.
A yellow line shows up in chat: "Soul Crusher will wake in 2 minutes!" They pick a spot and dig in. "Please wall it up when you come in."
Tunnels in two directions
Underground, the team splits up to tunnel. Basket's screen shows a long dig alone through stone and gravel. Then the red lines: "Soul Crusher is coming!" and "(The World Border is shrinking 95 blocks over 5 minutes)." They are far enough in to be safe for now. The tunnels open into a ravine and then a cave ("I see a skeleton right there on the ledge"), and Basket meets up with pikerize again.
Three players out
Chat fills up fast. "Virii333 fell from a high place." A wall of "gg" follows, BasketMC included, and another two-minute warning. Then "FriarNurgle was slain by Sayulily," and soon after, "NewaZusa was slain by Sayulily." Epic_Swampert writes "GG PULSE," and Scoti_Garbidis adds "run pulse."
Over voice, the border plan gets explained: "it's gonna continuously like shrink and then give you a warning and then shrink and give you a warning."
Gravel and gold
Back to work. Gravel finally turns into flint, someone calls out "three more gold," and the team keeps moving through the caves past a pool of lava.
At the end, chat posts "Soul Crusher is coming!" once more, then "End of Day 4. Players remaining:" with 17 names, BasketMC, 8ong8ong and pikerize among them. Basket is alive with the orange team in the caves when the episode ends.
