Day 6 starts in the orange team's cave. Basket, 8ong8ong and pikerize are set for food ("Yeah, we're good on food") and ready to go up. The plan this time is to head for spawn and see who is there.
Toward spawn
They climb a tunnel out into a sunny forest and start walking toward the middle of the map. Over voice, the guess is that someone has built a fort there: "Chances are that there's probably a fort built at spawn." It is usually whichever team gets there first. One of them has "lava and flint and steel on the bar," just in case.
Somebody on the hill
Near spawn the ground rises into extreme hills, and they slow to a crouch, since player names only show up close. "Oh, there we go, yep, there's somebody on the hill. I can't see what team it is." The player circles around the right side and out of sight. The team has two bows, so they back off to the water and use the enchanting table. "They are all power one." Night is coming.
The cave between the waterfalls
Then a plan: "To the right, in between the two waterfalls there's a cave. So if we can sneak over to those caves, then we'll already be inside their mountain."
Inside it is dark. "There's someone here." Then: "There's two of them." Chat cuts in with "Sayulily was slain by Zombie Pigman," the same Sayulily who took out the whole blue team on Days 4 and 5. bjaydubya writes "gg pigman," SodaShaman adds "there was an accident...," and a yellow line follows: "Soul Crusher will wake in 2 minutes!"
Following the torches
By the time the orange team is inside together, the two players have moved on. They block the entrance, put a torch inside, keep an eye on a spider, and look around. "There's torches heading out this way." The red lines arrive too: "Soul Crusher is coming!" and the border shrinks 95 blocks over five minutes.
Names in the trees
At a big opening, a voice reads the signs: "They killed a zombie over here." Then: "They're there, I see 'em. Straight ahead." A shout of "creeper" pulls them back for a moment, and when they look again the other team is out in the trees. "I saw a name tag, I don't know whose name tag it was."
Walking out of the cave would hand the other team the first look ("they've got line of sight if we come out"). So they stay at the edge of sight range, wall off the cave mouth ("just so we don't get more creepers"), and someone starts digging a side route. "This is the nerve-wracking bit." Another "Soul Crusher is coming!" comes through.
End of Day 6
The plan for morning is to go back out the way they came in and try the far side of the mountain. They break through the dirt and work their way back along their tunnels.
The server posts "End of Day 6. Players remaining:" with 15 names, pikerize, 8ong8ong and BasketMC first among them. Basket is alive with the orange team in the caves when the episode ends.
