The video opens on a card that reads "Aftermath VOD 2016-07-13, Charged Creeper Pathing." It's the third part of the same evening stream on the snowy map, and it starts back in the brick building the group made its base in the last part, with Wolfstorm in gold armor in the room. It's still night, and the outside isn't friendly. "There's a zombie outside too," and then a skeleton, the call reports.
A way down
The base sits high up, and the call starts planning a way down. Ladders come up first. Then a better idea: pour a bucket of water down the outside wall, if anyone can find iron for a bucket. Someone gets hold of water anyway, and soon there's a channel running down the side of the building. Basket follows it down. Someone on the call sums up the trip: "Oh, this is so scary right now." The snow is odd down here too, the call notices: it's "not providing snowballs."
The charged creeper
Down among the snow drifts, Basket finds a charged creeper, crackling blue, standing on top of a snow pillar. Basket is thrilled with how it went: "I outsmarted it by giving it a path to get to me, and then I broke the path, and it, like, jumped down into the pit underneath." Basket wants a witness. "Anybody on stream see that? I'm pretty proud of myself."
Then comes "the long climb" back up through the water. At the top, someone on the call has half-slabbed the exit so nothing can spawn there, and that briefly gets in the way: "No, I can't get up." It sorts itself out, and Basket is back inside with Wolfstorm and the chests.
A busy server
The chat shows how rough the night is for everyone. "Lord_Kaos found out what their terminal velocity was." "A Zombie ate Wolfstorm's brain!" "greightsects just got diced up with Diamond Sword." The chat doesn't say who had the diamond sword. The Tab list shows nine on the server: Lord_Kaos, narcolepticfox, BasketMC, Nemsun, Runwyld, Wolfstorm, DrMarko9 and greightsects in PvP, and Zombiphobia in Survival.
Basket spends the rest of the night between the bedroom and the roof, looking out over the frozen towers, while the call talks about building an AFK fishing spot for enchanted books. Later someone on the call shouts that there's "a zombie loose" inside and they're down to "one heart."
Out at dawn
When the sky starts to lighten, it's time to move. "It's almost day, and then I'm going down from the outside," someone on the call says. Basket drops into the water shaft on the roof and rides it down.
In daylight the snow plains stretch out flat and white, dotted with low mounds that the call thinks could be buried buildings with loot chests inside. The call has one rule for the walk: no sprinting. Nemsun runs alongside.
The hospital
Then someone spots it. "There's a hospital! Can you see the hospital?" A gray building with a red cross on the front sits across the snowfield. "Maybe they will have some loot." At the same time, another player who found the base is about to die before getting inside and asks for someone to come and get the stuff. Basket keeps walking toward the red cross, and the plan settles on it: "I'll go to the hospital."
The video stops there, and the credits run to the end with no gameplay after them. The stream picks up in the next part.
