This stream archive runs about an hour and a half. It opens on a card reading "Hypermine SMP Stream Archive" and "Rail Station Receiving", with no episode number, so the number here comes from the playlist. Most of it is on the Hypermine server, at Basket Station and the small rail station. Basket also shows plans in a creative world, briefly midway and then for the last stretch. The job today is the receiving side: what happens when a train pulls in.
Which way the trains turn
Basket starts on the new platform over the tracks, still "not sold on it yet," then gets to work on the exits. By default a train should run straight through the station. If it carries a token for this stop, rails powered from below will switch it up to the platform. A test minecart shows one side looping the wrong way, and Basket rearranges the tracks and powered rails to make the whole thing more compact.
Where passengers get off
Next comes the drop-off spot: far down the station, past the shops, or close by? Basket asks the chat, and a viewer suggests the middle. "Okay, yeah, compromise." Another viewer would like the stop right by the entrance to their shop.
An activator rail will kick riders out onto the right level, beside a spruce fence people can walk through. Basket hops in a cart to try it: "kick this out as expected here, cool." Right after the stop the track drops away so the rest of the train can fall into the sorting area below. The checkered floor goes back in around it, polished blocks and furnaces, with the furnaces facing one way as much as possible.
Room underneath
Below the floor, Basket lays a smooth stone platform and explains the sorting plan. Empty chest minecarts go to storage, engines get emptied, and anything else counts as freight and heads down to a freight yard. Measuring the dig site by coordinates shows the planned freight yard won't fit beside the station, so it will go below, leaving this level for sorting redstone.
The engine cart
Down in the collection area, the tokens slide across the ice, collect at the end and drop into a waiting minecart. Working from a screenshot of the same part at the small station, Basket adds a comparator, a repeater at full delay and a sticky piston. Once that collection point has had items and then runs dry, the cart gets sent off, and the caboose goes with it. A first test works: the cart fills, the collector empties, and the rail stays powered long enough for the cart to leave.
A visit to the small station
To remember how the next piece works, Basket rides over to the small rail station. Its railroad crossing is stuck on, because it thinks a stray cart is still inside. Inside, Basket walks through the compact version: four destinations, passenger cars only, engines and cabooses pulled out, and chest carts that arrive with items sent up to a second floor "sort of like the luggage carousel at the airport." That sorting is what Basket Station needs next.
Plans in the creative world
The stream ends in Basket's creative world, not on the server. Here a freight train fills its own lanes in the freight yard, each cart is emptied into chests below, and a button sends the whole train up. Basket also shows the old destination picker designs, "way over complicated," and lists what's still to plan: a clear option that sends the engine and caboose back around without touching anyone's freight, a roof with support pillars, and a walkway down from upstairs. The credits run to the end with no gameplay after them.
