This stream runs about 65 minutes. It opens on a card reading "Hypermine Vanilla VOD" and "Finishing Small Rail Station" with no episode number, so the number here comes from the playlist. Basket's plan is "a little bit of finishing touches" at the first small rail station on the smart rail network, and a test right away shows one of them doesn't work yet.
A test that catches a mistake
Some work happened off camera. Tokens dropped off at the station now run through a line of hoppers to refill the dispensers and droppers, and anything left over loops around to a spot that pulls out caboose tokens and sends them down to the caboose area. When a new caboose comes up, it's supposed to collect some.
Basket drops cobblestone into the hopper that sends the engine off. One item does nothing. Three items work, and two carts head up. But the caboose gets no new tokens, because the release is wired to the wrong line. "This line is for stuff that comes back." Basket rewires it so the hoppers stay powered by default and open when the caboose goes. "I'm glad I tested."
Hoppers that won't let go
The next test hands out only three caboose tokens. The hoppers are locking each other. So Basket experiments. A powered hopper that points sideways holds its items, but one pointing down still empties. "How interesting." Basket rotates the row to point at the wall, into a second row of hoppers. The second test fills the caboose: "So I end up with 21 caboose tokens, which is more than I need, but that's fine."
Then come furnaces over the exposed hoppers, to cut lag and stop stray items from landing in the wrong place.
A viewer asks about putting shulker boxes in minecarts once they arrive. It could work in theory, but Basket has no way to tell a shulker box from any other item in a cart, so there won't be special handling for one.
Programming needs levels
What's left is programming the destinations. Every dropper slot needs something in it, even blank cobblestone, so Basket gathers stacks of it and stops at another player's base to use an ender chest. The real tokens are renamed cobblestone, and renaming costs a level per block. Basket is low on levels. "This whole plan is broken." Otherwise, the station "might be done."
A parking spot at the main station
Basket rides out past Intersection 2, where the redstone was finished after last stream (the carpet still has to go in), and on to the main rail station.
At the main station, a train with only a caboose goes up to be emptied. A longer one, with chest minecarts, currently runs off into "the middle of nowhere," because the freight yard isn't built. Basket fetches powered rail and builds a small loop for those trains. Powered rail would keep them moving, so Basket swaps in regular rail. "They'll just live there for now."
The prototypes, and a stubborn farm
With nothing else to build until the cobblestone is renamed, Basket hops to a separate world to show viewers the early prototypes: a station with an engine, passenger carts, chest minecarts and a caboose launched on a delay, a freight yard with overflow protection, and an intersection. Passenger trains come before freight.
Back on the server, Basket sleeps through the night and heads to a gold farm to earn levels. Items come up, but the XP stays below. "Something's screwy." Basket plans to try somewhere else, and the stream ends there. The credits run to the end with no gameplay after them.
