This episode runs about 71 minutes and opens on a card reading "Episode 95" and "Styling Iron Farm Rail Station." Basket starts at South Port Hypermine Station, next to the new "Extra" chest for spare chest minecarts. The station seems to be working again, so it's off to Basket Station to check the to-do signs.
Furnaces instead of droppers
One sign asks for droppers at South Port, on top of the line that refills the station with chest minecarts. Basket doesn't have many droppers but has plenty of furnaces, so furnaces it is, "because it's good enough." The ride back passes the railroad crossing, where a detector rail counts three carts on the way in and another counts them back out before the lights and barriers reset. At South Port, Basket breaks a stray extra cart, then climbs on top of the refill line, lays the furnaces down and adds torches where mobs could spawn.
Back at Basket Station, the chest minecart job comes off the list and a new sign goes up: a caboose token redelivery feature for the intersections. Each intersection keeps one caboose token from every train that passes, and Basket wants a way to get those back.
The chat picks Iron Farm
Basket puts three jobs to a stream poll: caboose tokens, Iron Farm Station, or ender chest ATMs. Iron Farm Station wins. A new sign goes up for styling the rail between Basket Station and Iron Farm, and Basket packs stone and makes torches while waiting for a train.
The train doesn't come. "Is it already broken?" Down in the machinery there's a cart missing in one spot, a random cart in another and a big pile of carts in a third. "It's like the whole stack broke." Basket works out that a cart can end up in a spot where it bumps the others out of line, and spends a while walling in the stack with stone so the carts can't wander. "This is usually how it works."
The next request sends one cart, not two, and the train heads out.
Copying the castle
On the line to Iron Farm, Basket lists what still needs doing: torches and levers moved off the middle of a bridge, missing gravel, a hole to close up and an intersection that "looks so junky." Then it's outside to the inspiration, the big castle next to the station, which holds the iron farm and a storage system. Basket didn't build it. "I didn't make that in case you're new."
The plan is to make the station roof match. Basket crafts the palette (stone brick stairs, cobblestone walls, spruce fences and slabs) and then studies the castle's top edge piece by piece. "Trying to figure out the pattern is confusing."
Layer by layer
The trim goes on in rows: walls and fences, then stairs facing out, then stairs going the other way in between. The count works out on the first side. "Oh, it worked out perfectly." Basket raises the edge one extra block to leave room for the floor, runs short of stairs and fetches more, and finishes with a cobblestone slab floor, keeping the ladder hole open.
To see how the castle handles its corners, Basket throws ender pearls over and lands on its roof. "Look at this place, it's beautiful." Basket also finds the reset button for the iron farm and leaves it alone.
Not off the list yet
Back on the station, Basket decides to leave the roof lit from below. The roof is now "functional and styled," but the Iron Farm sign stays up: there's still a door, walls on this side and the other, the front doors and a path over to the castle's main gate.
