Episode 8 of Minimalist starts on top of Perilous Pyramid and ends in Aetherial Archive, the next dungeon on Kaladun's complete the monument map. It's a library. The books blind anyone who takes from it, witches and spiders fill the stacks, and the wool sits at the bottom of a flooded room. For once nobody dies. Basket walks out with the Yellow Wool, and it hasn't gone on the monument yet when the episode ends.
Leftovers from the pyramid
"We're on top of the pyramid." A chest up there held "a golden apple and a bunch of food," and the pair head back through the stone halls to the intersection. At the base the golden apple goes into the ender chest and the food gets split: pork chops for one, mutton and steak for the other. Some steak goes in a chest "so I don't lose all of it when I die." Half the wood gets handed back too.
Into the library
A sign in the hall reads Aetherial Archive. Past it are pale blue walls, wood floors and bookshelves. A book lays out the rules: "The librarians here guard their secrets viciously, blinding anyone who tried to steal from them. In your sightlessness try not to fall off." There's void below, and a pressure plate is supposed to reset the clock. Within seconds there are witches, poison and blindness. "Oh, witches. Oh, poison, and I can't see."
Through the stacks
The upper floors are dark, wooden and full of cobwebs and spiders. Spawners get broken where they can be reached. One chest holds two enchanted books, read out as "infinity one and power three," and every chest they empty gets broken "so we know that we've been here." Someone gets stuck in a web. Another chest has a golden apple, which comes in handy a minute later: "I'm dying." It gets eaten while still poisoned. Skeletons drop through a hole in the ceiling, and the torches are running low.
Yellow wool under water
The last room has a pool between the bookshelves, with witches at the edge and "like four spawners" just ahead. They get broken one at a time. "Die, witches, die. Witches get stitches!" A witch falls into the water below, and blindness hits again partway through.
At the bottom is a chest with two blocks of Yellow Wool, "From Aetherial Archive." "I grab one." Then they climb out slowly, careful not to hit the void on the way.
Where it ends
Back in the base hall, Scoti_Garbidis waits by the ender chest with arrows still stuck in the armor. Basket opens the ender chest, yellow wool still in the inventory. "I say we call this an episode," with a plan to put a couple more wools on after another clearing. The Deaths board hasn't moved: Scoti_Garbidis 7, BasketMC 5.
