Episode 7 of Minimalist starts with a new wool on the monument, then sends Team B.S. into Perilous Pyramid, the next 24x24x24 dungeon on Kaladun's complete the monument map. It is a sandstone maze of lava traps and blaze spawners, and it takes everything they carry more than once. By the end the Light Blue Wool sits on the monument.
Magenta on the monument
"Welcome back. It's time for some more Minimalist." Basket sets the magenta wool from Futile Fortresses on its spot, next to the white and orange. "Boop. Yay." Then a quick climb up the creeper mountain to grab something left on top, "throw it in the ender chest," and they head past the Intersection sign toward the pyramid.
Lava under the sand
Before going in, they drop their usual caution: "we're gonna break our 1-2-3 rule. If you see a chest, grab it." The pyramid has other plans. The floor hides lava, and the chat soon reads "Scoti_Garbidis tried to swim in lava." On the recording: "I just lost a ton of torches," along with an iron pickaxe, a bow and a pile of arrows. "Lots of lava traps."
While that gets sorted out, Basket pushes on with Speed and Strength potions, a bucket of water and a hint for later: any sand ahead should get a torch on it before anyone walks near it.
The blaze room
Deeper in is a room with a purple floor, lava channels and caged spawners full of blazes. Basket places water to cool the lava and fights from the edge, but the chat reads "BasketMC burned to death." The run back from the base ends the same way, this time with "BasketMC was fireballed by Blaze." On the recording, there are "like four blazes outside," and someone tries to save the dropped gear: "I've got most of your stuff." The rest is "down there on fire."
A spawner down
Basket restocks at the base and heads back. This time a spawner gets broken: "I broke one of the spawners." Then there is lava on the wall too, and the chat reads "BasketMC was fireballed by Blaze" once more. "I'm pretty sure all my stuff is gone."
Light blue at last
Basket stays home to resupply, sorting chests and cooking food, while Scoti_Garbidis goes on alone. A sign says the tomb lies ahead. "This feels like it's a trap." Past it is a walkway "surrounded by lava the whole way around." Then: "I'm bringing back the wool."
Where it ends
Back in the base, the Light Blue Wool goes up beside the magenta. The Deaths board now reads Scoti_Garbidis 7, BasketMC 5. The commentary suggests a reconnaissance trip next, and Team B.S. sign off.
