Episode 12 of Minimalist picks up inside Compact Caldera, the lava dungeon from last time on Kaladun's complete the monument map. Team B.S. lose two more lives before they reach its chest, bring the pink wool home, and then take a first look at the next dungeon, Steel Showdown. When the episode ends they have scouted it but not started the real work.
Back into the caldera
"Let's do this, you ready?" They go back down the path, pour water on the lava and break the spawners one at a time. It does not last. The chat reads "Scoti_Garbidis was shot by Skeleton," and moments later Basket gets the death screen: "BasketMC was burnt to a crisp whilst fighting Blaze." The Deaths board ticks over to 10 and 8.
Gear back, wool found
Basket respawns in the base and runs back through the jungle and the waterfall hall. Most of the dropped gear turns up, though not all of it: "my food is missing." New stone tools get crafted on the spot, more spawners come out, and inside a room of pink glass is the chest with the Pink Wool. The same haul includes a Power I bow and a splash potion of fire resistance. "It's a tough map, man."
Pink on the monument
Back at the base, the pink wool goes on the monument shelf next to the lime. "Pink wool for the best."
A look at Steel Showdown
From the intersection they head into Steel Showdown. The entrance hall has banners, a big "VS" on the wall and a sign that pits iron golems against zombie hordes. Basket digs out some iron ore, and below the stands is a pit of fences and pens with zombies inside. "Oh, look at that zombie grinder." On the recording: "Don't destroy that stuff."
Where it ends
The plan is to put everything in the ender chest and move on to the next intersection. Scoti_Garbidis waits by the Compact Caldera sign as the episode closes, with the Deaths board at Scoti_Garbidis 10, BasketMC 8.
