Episode 14 of Minimalist sends Team B.S. into the Nonsensical Nether, a netherrack dungeon of zombie pigmen, blazes and skeletons on Kaladun's complete the monument map. The pigmen here all carry the name Dinnerbone and walk around upside down. Basket dies twice and Scoti_Garbidis once, and the episode ends with both of them deep in the dungeon, short on health and food, with no wool placed.
Into the Nonsensical Nether
Last time was "the haunted hedges." This time a path through leaves ends at a sign reading Nonsensical Nether, and past it is a room of netherrack and fire. Gold for the monument is on their minds. There are pigman spawners, blaze spawners and skeletons with bows, and some of the chests are trapped: "this one's trapped." The plan is to break the spawners but keep one pigman spawner in the corner "if we need gold for the monument." A few minutes in, the chat reads "Scoti_Garbidis was burnt to a crisp whilst fighting Skeleton," and the Deaths board ticks up to 11.
Upside-down pigmen
The zombie pigmen here wear the nameplate Dinnerbone and move around flipped on their heads. They stay calm until something hits one, and then they don't: "I'm pretty sure the pigmen hate me now." Basket fights from a perch on an orange clay block while the crowd gathers below. A Weird Sword with Silk Touch I, Smite II and Unbreaking II turns up in Basket's inventory, and strength, regeneration and swiftness potions keep the fight going for a while. Then the chat says "BasketMC was slain by Dinnerbone." Basket respawns at base, restocks from the ender chest and a large chest there, and walks back in.
Glass over lava
Back in the dungeon there is a shaft of gold ore, and a floor of glass laid over a pool of lava. Basket drops down to collect the lost gear while pigmen fill the pit. Food is the real problem now. One piece of rabbit gets handed over ("How much did that give you?" "Three and a half."), and zombie flesh starts to look like a meal.
Teleporters that loop
A weighted pressure plate sends them into a small room of white quartz. "I think there's a bunch of teleporters that all come to this area." Breaking out through the wall "would be cheating," so they block off the mobs, take out a spawner, and try the teleporters instead. One past a command block leads to a chest holding a bow called Shadowcurse (Power III, Punch I, Infinity I) and a sign with an arrow, but the next one only drops them back in the same room. With a couple of hearts each, the plan becomes "try and get out and get food."
Fireballed
A blaze gets there first: "BasketMC was fireballed by Blaze," and the board reads 10. At base Basket takes a splash potion of fire resistance from the ender chest and food from the large chest ("There's a bunch of pork chops in the double chest. Remember I got like 64 of them?"), then uses the fire resistance and runs back through the lava rooms past more blazes.
Where it ends
Inside again, one of them says "I found the wool," but no wool shows on Basket's screen and nothing goes on the monument this episode. The two find each other near a dark room with a chest, block themselves in to heal, and sort out the food. "We'll see you next time." The Deaths board ends at Scoti_Garbidis 11, BasketMC 10.
