Episode 15 of Minimalist finds Team B.S. deep in Nonsensical Nether, a dungeon of netherrack, nether brick and lava on Kaladun's complete the monument map. Basket and Scoti_Garbidis fight blazes, skeletons and pigmen, find the Light Gray Wool, and then lose a pile of gear and gold when lava floods a room. The Deaths board goes from Scoti_Garbidis 11, BasketMC 10 to 13 and 10, and the wool is sitting in a chest, not on the monument, when the episode ends.
Skeletons in the walls
The episode opens mid-fight on the edge of a lava pool. The skeletons here keep showing up in odd places, and the commentary has a theory: they "aren't affected by light just so you know, and that's why they're spawning in the wall sometimes." Later: "Aha, I found where the skeletons are coming from over here." Along the way they mine gold and stash it in a chest in a back corner, and a diamond goes in with it.
Two teleporters
A room further in has two teleporters. "You pick one." The first leads to "the top of the gold staircase." The other has "so many bad things on the other side," mostly skeletons. Blocks run out ("Alright, I'm out of blocks"), and the lava in the way gets cleared a piece at a time. Past it is a room of blazes and pigmen around a spawner. Basket shoots into the crowd from the doorway, and behind glowstone and glass sits a chest with the wool inside.
Shot, then flooded
The chat reads "Scoti_Garbidis was shot by Skeleton." Reaching each other is hard: "I don't have any way to get to you and help because I don't have a pickaxe. We blocked everything behind us." Gear gets passed around, a pick and a sword get made, and potions come along, including fire resistance ("don't waste it").
It is not enough. Lava pours down from above into the next room, and the chat reads "Scoti_Garbidis tried to swim in lava to escape Blaze." Everything Scoti_Garbidis was carrying burns, "including all that gold." Later, on the recording: "Sorry about that lava that suddenly appears on your head." The reply: "It's alright. I should have been more patient, but I was in a room with like seven blazes."
Starting over
Basket puts the Light Gray Wool in a chest so it is safe: "I put one wool in the chest over here." Scoti_Garbidis is back at spawn with nothing ("I didn't bring anything to dig with") and has to go the long way. An iron chest turns into water buckets and a set of iron armor to replace the leather. On the recording: "Trepidatious trees, remember when everything was easy." The gold is still a problem. "Well, we gotta get some gold," and the hope is a pigman spawner somewhere ahead.
Where it ends
One wool stays in the chest while they take a teleporter back to the top room and hunt for gold in the walls. Then Basket walks out through the forest room to a room of beds where Scoti_Garbidis is waiting by the ender chest. Basket checks the ender chest, and the episode ends with the wool found, the gold gone and the board at Scoti_Garbidis 13, BasketMC 10.
